If I could leave negative stars by my sweet lord I would. This has got to be the worst store I have ever stepped upon. I could find it in my Lord loving heart to forgive the absolutely disgusting bathrooms that are filled with feces on the floors and walls, I could overlook the empty shelves but shopping carts full of product littering the store and blocking my path, but by the grace of my heart I cannot sit by and ignore the poor customer services I received. Not once, not twice but THREE times I have come here to shop and been met with the rudest cashiers and workers on the floor. I myself worked in retail back in 2009 and even then I was never once found myself swearing at customers and even threatening someone’s life while working. When Joanne stole my husband years ago I felt the devils wrath in my veins and I still never swore and threatened like the young lady I saw a few weeks ago. Bless her heart this poor woman was on the receiving end of an absolutely diabolical argument that was completely one sided. This young lady whose name I wasn’t able to catch since she wasn’t wearing a name tag, another issue I have, was swearing at another cashier, threatening her manager and other customers. I have been so shaken up about the entire ordeal that it has taken me so long to write this. I feared she would even hurt me had she known I said something but eventually last week I came back by the store and somehow that hussie was there again. While she ran that mouth her mother gave her I tried to find a manager to tell of the ordeal earlier but was met with a once again dirty store and no staff. Monday I came back in and saw another woman my age walking around and I FALSEY assumed she would share mutual respect and hear me out but alas when confronted with the stores downfalls she simply rolled her eyes like she was a teenager and not an old crane in her 80s. I have been threatened, belittled and given no service in this store and I will be taking my business elsewhere since no amount of complaint to the higher-up’s seem to warrant any results.

Very unorganized. Hard to find things that you're looking for it. If they even have it. Trip before last I was literally just going to buy regular ole' table salt and they had none. Blew my mind but they didn't have salt. And I know blah blah blah recession blah blah blah blah. But it's salt it's cheaper than dirt and not in low supply. Hence oceans everywhere. Granted that it could be a staffing issue, but if that's the case then there's a manager issue. If they pay people accordingly maybe they would stay. But usually when you're having staffing issues it's because somebody higher up isn't doing their job. Wake up corporate America this is the citizens calling y'all out. Pay the people that deserve it, what they deserve. And quit paying the people that don't. It's demotivating to an employee that's trying, and knowing dang well that they're making the same amount as Lazy Lucy playing on her phone, talking to her boyfriend the whole shift. Stop paying Lucy at all and if the only employee you've got is that one that gives a darn. Pay them the rightful overtime they deserve for caring about your company image. And get your lazy butts out of your offices and get down to the store to stock some shelves. Collecting y'all's nice fat shareholder checks earned on the backs of those that are working their butts off for you. Sorry to this specific Dollar General for the rant but it's not just your store either. It's Corporate America as a whole. Too busy worrying about profits and not about your employees that are making your profits. Pretty soon you'll find out and you'll have no profits or employees. People aren't going to continue working if you haven't realized. Taking back America one step at a time. Because WE the PEOPLE make this COUNTRY GREAT.
