I bought a used mobile home. They pretty much got for free. No insulation underneath was told everything was gonna be fixed. Nothing was fixed. AC blows cold air under the house not in the house was told to have the roof fixed. Never did it put a different color siding in the back cause when they took it apart, they lost the vinyl siding? The worst company I ever dealt with I would never recommend them to anybody unless you’re in a trailer park didn’t even finish hooking up the plumbing

To be honest I cant even give this place 1 star. They were previously Lakes housing. I have never come accross so many problems in my 59 years of life. They will steal your money, They took over 2 years to have a mobile home ready on my lot. They do not take responsibibly for anything. I can go on, but wont have enough room to write.

I only give 1 star because they dont have NEGATIVE ratings.They are LIARS, CHEATS, CROOKS and only care about themselves. $$$ is there only concern, the money to them....not saving you crap.They overprice thier homes to look as if they're giving you a deal!!!BUYER BE WARE!!!! BUYER BE VERY AWARE!!!! P.S. they dont have modulars either, just another LIE!!! To make them look big.Personal or business. Cheaters dont care about YOU!!!!I WOULDN'T TRUST THEM TO SELL USED GUM!!!!

Very disappointed. I spoke with Nancy who seemed knowledgeable and pleasant. Once I mentioned bad credit, she immediately shut down. Wouldn't return my email. Even though I can be approved with a 20% down payment.. she basically ignored me.

Unfinished Home- “Lack of Communication”We were extremely excited when we found our dream home, a Destiny Home. We bought 10 acres and then found a modular home that we loved through Lakehousing The company who sales Destiny Models. We initially worked with Mike Hull. Mike was extremely helpful and maintained communication with us as to what was being done and answered all our questions. When Mike left Lakehousing the lack of communication and the customer service went downhill! We LOVE our Destiny home. This review is based on the complete lack of communication and consideration for our well being.About our experience with Lakehousing and our experience with Robert Lake, the owner As well as Destiny Homes.It has been a constant battle to get our questions answered or even get updates to how things are going or what to expect. We have had to call on several occasions, only to get the run around and excuses which Lakeview have stated are due to COVID… Really?? It has been a year!! For a Modular Home, why? How is it possible that block houses are being built faster than our modular home? Why when, we called Destiny the manufacture/builder did we find out that the home was ready for final inspections!?Robert Lake claimed it was because of the lack of materials due to COVID. He did not communicate with the office, his staff, the builder, or us – the customers. Instead, he yelled at me. He told me that if I knew so much, then why I do not tell him when the home would be delivered. Really? Is this the way to treat someone who is just asking for updates? His excuses got better as time went on. For example, he stated he needed to find some where to get dirt. Yet, we were able to get him in contact with someone who had dirt available. Regardless, they drug there feet so much that the home was delivered without the dirt. This caused another week’s delay. On top of this we had no idea that we needed to set up an electric account through Clay electric prior to them scheduling to have an electrician. On 6-4-2021 we visited the property for the weekend to check on things and mow. Well guess what, Lakehousing put the wrong skirting on. In addition, put the wrong color of siding on part of the home. Compound this with the fact that Mr. Lake helped pick the colors. Yet, he claims he cannot remember, and the information was put incorrectly on the final work sheet. We filed an updated final estimate sheet with the upgraded skirting and email it to Mr. Lake, only for it to be ignored! Was there any communication??? NOPE!! In addition to all this we had to call them to ask for them to make the final permit fees, so we could get the electric scheduled. There is nothing like having to babysit you contractor! Please note that we do have proof of correspondence. (That was typically ignored.) Let us see how the walk through goes.??? Should be interesting.We would NOT recommend anyone to buy from Lakehousing or Destiny unless of course you just want the run around!!! I am beside myself has to how we have been treated through our building process and the total lack ofcommunication. (I called and left a message, with no return calls.)We have been trying to get moved into our home for several months, however it keeps getting put on the back burner!! Don’t get me wrong, we do realize that circumstances do arise but to just ignore it and NOT bother to communicate anything is unacceptable.This is just some of the issues/problems with the home and lack of communication with these companies. The list goes on and on…..On top of all this, they keep telling us to move in.. Are you kidding me.??Please know that I have plenty of documentation through emails that I have communicated. And witness to conversations of empty promises.Please be sure to read through all the reviews, you will find the same pattern dating back to 2017. Wish we had done our homework before going with this company. It has been a nightmare!!
