Had a problem with a dog that another vet just looked at her and recommended pills with no real explanation. Took her to DAH for a second opinion. She was diagnosed with a yeast infection, received a shot for the itching and pain, with medication. That night she slept the whole night without the continous scratching and licking for the first time in a couple of weeks.

I absolutely LOVE Dunnellon Animal Hospital. I have5 doxies and 3 feral cats who are very healthy thanks to them. Dr. Morgan is my favorite but my babies have also been seen by Dr Tracy and Dr. Moorman. I have read where some people think they are too expensive but my experience has been that all vet care tends to be expensive like everything else these days. In my opinion you can't put a price on trust for my fur babies, my peace of mind is worth it. Thank you Dunnellon Animal Hospital.

I AM SO LIVID THIS HAD HAPPEN TO MY DOG. SHE WAS GOOD JUST NEEDED THE RIGHT MEDICATION FOR HER INFECTION AND NEVER GOT…. I HOPE THE OWNER READ MY REVIEW OF COURSE THE VET WILL SAY OTHERWISE . I KNOW MY DOG
I’m not very happy with the outcome care for my dog. Clearly my dog wasn’t getting better with antibiotics after 4 days I asked to change the meds and the answer was well wait 3 more days if she’s the same we need X-rays and bloodwork the hurricane was coming she had me wait 3 more days . I told her I didn’t have the funds for that I pleaded to change meds. She kept saying how strong these meds are And should clear it up. Different strains need different meds and every animal is different she should have changed them. In Dec she was on ciprofloxcin and it helped . Dr moorman prescribed them and a second course too. She was peeing on the floor as she laid down and dribbling all over. She had yellow green discharge coming from her urethea and tinged blood this time, Sound like a bad infection to me. After 8 days being on those meds that do nothing she was so bad and so sick , weak, didn’t want to eat,. She has bad hips and legs but this made it even worse was hard for her to walk. She was in so much pain . My poor dog . I just wanted her to get better and later I could of had the. Xrays and blood work done . I will be out of work for 6 weeks for my surgery. So money is tight . I used my surgery down payment money for my dog. Had to put my dog to sleep because of that vet. Tracy won’t be taking care of my animals anymore.

They are not doing honest business. Be careful! There are no prices, no details. Discuss all prices before the service!!!!

We are EXTREMELY shocked and disappointed on how we were treated BY THE PHARMACIST, TREN AND SUPERVISOR, SHELBY! Tren spoke with us over two different occasions with disrespectful tones, insensitivity to our pets needs, especially when one of our pets was very sick and was having breathing issues. We called back to speak with the supervisor over these issues and she was also very disrespectful to me. When I asked to speak with Dr Morgan she comments “he can’t do anything about this because the staff are separate from the doctors and they don’t have a say when it comes to disciplinary actions with the employees”. I asked for her to let me know when the matter has been addressed and she got very upset with me. My husband was listening and he said let’s go to another vet, send us our records. She couldn’t get rid of us quick enough!!! She emailed both records for our cat and puppy! Now we are left without a vet with a sick cat that requires follow up appts due to his thyroid and a puppy with a very long life ahead of him!! We did love Dr Morgan as our primary vet! It’s a shame that the business side of the practice truly doesn’t care about the pets and their owners!

Today we took my wife's Yorke mix to this place because he seemed sick. The dog had a upset stomach. My wife heard the Vet talking negatively about her and her dog, can you believe that?? We were charged $530.00 ,for a 15 minute visit. On the way out ,I see a typed letter from them under the checkout register stating, they do not tolerate aggressive or yelling behavior towards the staff. LOL First of all ,when have you ever seen something like that? After our visit ,it all makes sense. The people are rude ,and they over charge you by FAR! There are many new animal clinics in the area ,my suggestion is find one ,and never return to these ungrateful people.

Dr. Morgan is the best. He has performed surgery on my dog and gave him the best quality of life. My dogs just love him. He takes time to educate, explain, and prepare a plan for my dogs. I highly recommend Dr. Morgan and his team for your veterinary services. You will not be disappointed by choosing him as your vet .

Good place and service. Doctor Gastis was a good Doctor and listen to my complaints. I would say to go to Dunnellon animal Hospital anytime. These vets really care. The way it use to be.

I had my Husky Tango in to see Dr. Morgan and the staff at Dunnellon Animal Hospital yesterday. I have had multiple cats and three dogs that have been seen for regular checks and vaccinations since we moved to Citrus County in 2010. My 14 year-old cat Tesla has never been to any other vet. I have always been treated with kindness and my animals have always been looked after with the greatest care. I wouldn't trust my pets to anyone else.

Everyone at the hospital were very respectful. Helpful and very cheerful. Dr. Stacey is amazing. Hard to find a down to earth and very knowledgeable Veterinarian , but Dr. Stacey is genuine. We have been at one too many vet clinics that try to sell you everything from food to bloodwork. We are so happy to have found this oasis. Thank you

I took my new French Bulldog puppy to Dunnellon Animal Hospital for his first shots. The staff was very friendly. Dr. Morgan was so good with my little guy. They saw me in a timely manner even though my appointment was late in the day. It was a great experience all around. I would highly recommend them.
