Very disappointed in this pharmacy, crucial medications are not filled in time and customers being told it’s their fault instead of claiming responsibility for their mishaps.

Idk why there's no reviews on this location anymore but the head pharmacist lady (not sure on her exact name at the moment and will update once I do) surely likes to overstep her professional boundaries.
Long story short I'm 34 years old to start and I have a few different health issues going on at the moment. I had a surgery done on 08/20/2024 in a quite sensitive area. So obviously the surgical center prescribed me 3 days worth of a low dose pain medication to help with my recovery. Well.... not only did she refuse to fill it but also wouldn't confirm it with anyone at the surgery center besides the prescribing doctor (which is usually normal and completely understandable). Well come to find out she was not intending to confirm the prescription at all, she wanted to speak with them so she could convince them to cancel it instead.
??? Idk why she felt it was necessary to go out of her way to do this (but this isn't the first time she has done something like this. She attempted something similar several months prior with one of my other unrelated doctor/prescription that ive had for over 15 years now) What ever the reasoning I find this to be very concering and extremely unprofessional! Especially since the fact the recent surgey prescription was actually canceled this time.
Pretty sure pharmacists are not qualified to make those kind of calls/decisions not to mention that she knows nothing about my medical history or knows why I was even being prescribed this for outside my brief/vaugue description I gave her about my surgery. Which legally she does not need to know any of this private information outside of confirming the prescription and filling it and answering any questions or concerns.
Not to mention the fact during this whole debocal i had to deal with right after getting out of being in surgery all day. She then continued to ask me unnecassary questions about what surgery I had gotten. When I wasnt able to pronounce technical terms very well she continued to ask for even more personal details like where I got it done/what place on my body was it done, ect. Now saying this I am already completely uncomfortable talking about this surgery or my personal medical details with anyone outside of my trusted doctors office who know exactly what's going on.
Honestly this whole situation is completely unprofessional if you ask me. Im not sure why all of a sudden this happened or is a problem but I do know is I got to spend the entire night awake in pain thanks to this pharmacist. In the end it is what it is I guess since I don't like taking prescriptions anyways. I just find this whole thing to be over concering and for a medical professional to act/overstep thier qualifications like that is quite baffling.
Based off this situation and it not being the first time to happen now. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone anymore which is a shame because everyone else working there is nice and friendly and never once have I had any problems with thier service over the many years with them or in the past. Only seemed to start having issues after this person started working at this location. I know now I'll be changing all my information over to somewhere else after this and most likely filing a complaint with the company. (even though im sure itll be a waste of time)

Shout out to the tech staff at pharmacy! I needed an Rx filled quickly before I went out of town. One the phone, they made me feel like I was their most important client. Success to fill Rx connected to a sister store since they were out of stock. Thank you!!

I don't know what has happened to this pharmacy but it just gets worse and worse. Starting with the wait times and to not being acknowledged at the drive through - as in people walking past you and look at you but not a word or something to make me think they will be with me as soon as possible.
To make things even worse their computer system is horrible! every time I pick up my script (every 3 month) there is some kind of problem with my insurance - I have standard insurance, from big name insurance company and have had the same insurance for past 2 years so it is not on my end. Yet once again, an issue and meds that are supposed to be $0 ringing up over $300. When I provide a valid insurance card, they are not able to run it through for some unknown issue. I am told to leave and come back when they call - well... no one called! I had to call back and was told, yes problem is fixed. I came back, got my meds but when I asked what the problem was - not a single person could answer my question. I advised that I am just trying to figure out so that we can avoid next time... answer was, its works now... so take your meds and have a nice day.
good bye Walgreens! I will avoid you like the plague going forward, especially this location.

I don't know what happened to this place... Around the 2000-2010 era, it was great. That place was my first job, (only a few months but still needs a mention). Those same long term employees were there all that time, and they were great. Except one of the older "grumpier" store managers, who will remain unamed, which is why I quit. Over the years those employees have moved on. These days, its as if that one grumpy, combatative manger, multiplied and now runs the whole store. Every time I go in there, theres some (thing) that happens and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I dont even use coupons there... God help me if I did. And the person managing it now seems to be a big factor in why this is all happening, even at the employee level. Isnt that always the case... Poor leadership skill people always getting into management.I don't think I'll be coming back. Im gonna give it one more try today. If it happens again, I'm gone for good. They at least get me checked out, so Ill give 2 stars instead of 1. But man.... This place really fell off a cliff. I hope corporate, or someone else, steps in and gets them straightened out. This used to be a great stop on the way to and from the beach. I dont think it's the employee's fault. Or well most of them anyway (one was old and well... difficult. I would be too, if life was pain). It seems more like there's a lack of training, a lack of compassion, poor handling of reprimand, and overexpectations from management, or any combo of those, which leads to a toxic environment for employees that then spills over onto customers. That has been an on-going theme there. Since I worked there decades ago.If that's the case, I hope those employees have the mind and strength to walk away together. A manager like that will only listen in 2 situations.... The regional manager reprimanding them (their boss). Or the whole workforce taking a hike and leaving the whole store's worth of work to that one manager.Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe its corporate. Maybe its bad employees. I'll never know for sure. But something is sure... The store has become ill.

Rude grumpy old lady that doesn't know what customer service is. Don't stand there and make me jump thru hoops for some sign up program to get product at price on tag then after I do it, tell me I need some coupon instead. Waste of my time. Should have went where I ended up anyways, Publix always takes care of it's customers and I got what I needed cheaper!!

The pharmacist canceled a prescription order made by an assistant pharmacist. The assistant had checked every option for me. She had gone out of her way to find me an option, that was in my budget. Another pharmacy had the medication for much cheaper and I didn't want to change go elsewhere. That is a trashy way to treat a longterm customer. I am SURE that this is done regularly, charging insurance companies and customers for medications that could be much cheaper. Simply by ordering from another manufacturer of a generic medication.
