My favorite store in Dunedin. This store has the most beautiful clothing and jewelry. Very high end without being overpriced. My daughter in law makes it her first stop whenever she comes to visit as we both love this shop and it’s quality style clothes !

It is really a shame I have to give one star as I never entered the shop. I was barricaded at the door by an older woman saying “Nope, uh-uh, you can’t come in.” Not even a hi or a kinder greeting. I had a service dog with me wearing his vest, on leash, and paperwork on hand. The owner was impeccably unkind and rude stating she had two of her dogs inside, therefore I couldn’t enter. News flash lady, you cannot deny entry of a service dog. I kindly stated that her attitude was not good for her business and left. Also Dunedin is known to be a dog town so maybe you should change your ways or attend an etiquette class to practice your mannerisms and social norms.

Beautifully curated boutique with high quality fabrics, jewelry and home items. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the merchandise and very helpful without being pushy at all. Great experience.

The owner was rude and not friendly. I will never go in here again. I've gone in before when a teenage girl was there and she was really nice. So disappointing. Cute stuff inside.

Wonderful little shop with friendly owner. Beautiful items - cards, rare plush stuffed animals from Germany, French lavender and much more. Nice stop and easy to get to.

Thistle is one of my favorite boutiques in Dunedin! My dog and I love visiting Paula and her dog, Molly, when she is there. I love the candles and the lemongrass soap. The atmosphere is charming and tranquil with many beautiful home and fashion items. I always make it a point to visit Thistle whenever I walk into town to see what new treasures they have. Paula also ordered some candles for me when they were sold out and followed up so I could come pick them up, which I really appreciated. I also love their dried lavender bouquets! I noticed there was a really bad review below that alluded to discrimination and I want to say, as a person with "melanin" and a former Elite Yelper, I was never followed around by anyone in the store nor was I treated poorly. In fact, I was there today and there was a person with "melanin" working there who was very sweet and helpful.

We stopped into this store briefly while shopping but had to leave quickly due to the overwhelming aroma. As we were leaving the store owner/manager chased after us quickly as if we stole something. Highly offended and definitely won’t be back!!
