Lived near Dunedin from 2007ish until 2015. Loved this store for years and have jewelry,
knickknacks and Christmas ornaments from here. Circumstances have taken me far away. But when I visit Dunedin, this is a must place. I visited April 5th. Same lovely store.

Cluttered and over priced.

I purchased 2 dress from this store after being assisted by a lovely, warm helpful woman. I noticed that they carry some pants that I have purchased else for $10 higher! Their merchandise is delightful & it is a fun browse.
I see the negative reviews here about people who felt that they were being treated rudely during the pandemic. As an elderly, fragile woman seeing too many of her friends die, I'd like to ask that you be a bit compassionate toward this frightened woman. I had it easy. Retired, I didn't have to go out & risk my life & health to maintain a business or earn a livelihood. I cannot imagine how I would have managed this.
Let's just all be a little more kind to everyone. Especially to us little old ladies!

An eclectic store with lots to choose from! Great tropical vibe in the heart of Dunedin.

I have been to this shop numerous times, both to browse and to make purchases. The selection of merchandise is great. I love all the different, unique items, in particular the metal hanging sea creatures. But after my visit today, I won't be coming back. Today, I came in to the shop just to browse, with my three kids. My daughter brought a bag to show me and as she left to go return it to the rack, the owner, who sat behind the cash register, gestured to an employee to follow my kids and me. This employee did so and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. She made us feel almost like criminals, even though all we did was browse and show each other the items we liked. Once we were done uncomfortably browsing, I had my kids leave and wait for me while I went to speak to the surly-faced owner. I told her how her and her employee's behavior made us uncomfortable. She said, and I quote, "Young people steal and I've had a lot of it. It's a fact of life. Welcome to the real world. If your kids don't steal, then you shouldn't be upset." There was no apology for her behavior or for how she made my family feel. Her behavior and mannerisms were incredibly rude and her facial expressions suggested that we were wasting her time. This is not a woman who understands what customer service is, nor should she be in business. Since this woman clearly does not like or respect "young people", I would like to make a suggestion to her. I would suggest that she treat her shop like a bar. She should have a sign on the door that bars entrance to anyone under the age of 21 or, just to be on the safe side, anyone under the age of 35.

We drive almost an hour and a half to come here and this has now been the 4th time in the past month and a half that we have gotten to the store prior to the closing time and they closed early every time. Much earlier. This last time I tried calling first to tell them and ask them about why- and to also see if they will actually be open till 5pm as it’s states on google and on the sign on the doors. No answer and I left a voicemail. We decided to drive up and got there at 415pm and I walked up to the door to open it and this women inside looked up at me and locked the door on me and the other customers wanted to come in. How rude and awful customer service. I will never ever come back to this store even if they actually stayed open till the time it says. My best friend just went there this afternoon and said that the owner was so rude and careless and she ended up telling her to cancel the transaction. So I’m not missing out, and neither of us or anyone in my family be returning here ever again. Best of luck!!

I stopped in to this store with out of state friends, and we were shocked at the rudeness of the clerk. I won't bring any other visitors to this store. This store reflects poorly on the downtown vendors who work so hard to make Dunedin a welcoming community.

I will never return to this shop. The owner was extremely rude twice - once when we couldn't find a price on an item we were interested in and again when she realized we had umbrellas with us (um, it was raining!). She is an embarrassment to the shops of Dunedin. If there was a zero rating I would give that.

Three strikes and you’re out. I come to Dunedin a few times a year, and I shop downtown every time. Today was the last time I’ll go in this shop. Be aware that they accept cash only on purchases under $10. The woman who runs/owns the shop is incredibly rude. I suppose she’s only interested in tourists who are in the area for vacation, and won’t be returning any items. Spend your money, wether it’s cash or card, somewhere else.

After reading reviews saying the store owner is rude I would like to counter that. She is a very sweet lady who is at higher risk for covid therefore, she did make the mask mandate strict in her store. This is how she makes a living and if she gets covid then there is no one to run her store therefore she won't make any money. If you don't want to keep a mask on while in the store then don't enter. I haven't been in awhile so I am not sure if she is still strict about masks. But please keep this in mind while you read other reviews. This shop is cute and convenient for small little gifts and things.

I would give this store a zero. I purchased Christmas gifts for 200.00 in November. I never was told return policy which is nonexistent. I brought in a pair of pants to exchange with my receipt & the lady (owner or manager) was so rude and down right mean to me. Once I brought the new pants to counter to exchange she harshly pulled down her mask, grabbed the pants out of my hand and put them up to her nose to smell! Then loudly stated actually yelled that they smelled like smoke & would not exchange them! During Covid she put her nose & mouth onto my clothing! Disgusting! Do not know why she thought this because I had 2 ladies with me & neither could smell smoke. She totally embarrassed me and I was never treated so badly in any store. I was intending on bringing a few of my friends there next month but I wouldn’t step foot in that store to be treated like that. Absolutely no customer service or common decency. There are many stores in Dunedin who treat people the way they should be treated. I never write reviews but I had to do this one. Buyer beware.

This store is unmarked (no outside name on the location) it sits smack in the middle of Dunedins Main Street on the same side and a couple of stores north of Strachans Ice Cream store. The store reminds me of “Spencers” with a tropical theme. It carries jewelry, signs, cards, t-shirts, outdoor artwork, etc., many with a humor to meet the needs a of all ages. The prices are reasonable for the area and the atmosphere is welcoming.

This is a super fun shop with lots of merchandise to look through. They have the largest selection of beach coverups and coastal souvenirs. The service was very nice and welcoming. Next time my relatives come to visit I will definitely take them to this shop along with the other delightful shops in downtown Dunedin including high end jewelry, art, and a lovely book store. Also gourmet ice cream and popcorn too. Let's support small businesses in our community.
