Sellers look out. Dont leave your items with this person without pricing and terms in writing and even then he will exhaust you with his lousy excuses and delays in providing info or explaining discrepancies. Buyers love him as he is able to sell at good prices because he doesnt pay his consigners or their property disappears. His communication is sooo poor. I think the only thing he is consistently good at is offering water and coffee when you enter. His graciousness is fake and he turns ugly fast. Check out his info on BBB, understandably not accredited!

Joel was very helpful in pointing out the right piece for my needs. He is super friendly and charismatic. The store is a constantly changing collection of great choices. I'm super happy with my purchase.

My husband and I have been a loyal customer for many years and we are always impressed every time we visit New 4 You Consignment because you'll never know what unique items you'll find. Joel exemplifies integrity, professionalism, trustworthy, and a very humbling owner. He always greets everyone with a smile as soon as you enter his store. We are extremely satisfied with every purchase we've ever bought and I highly recommend this unique store, it's one of a kind!!!

Update: There where no threatening messages sent over and over. I made you aware of the situation and had a conversation with you that lasted aprox. 5 minutes. What happened, happened, and its over and done with. The pictures sent to you were from me not the movers. You really have no clue what your talking about its all just CYA and placing blame. So called truck, so called helpers, how many other people are you going to blame. The answer is is simple. As many as you need to in order to not lose your piece of the pie. I posted my situation to my inner circle of friends and that's all that matters. Have a blessed day.

I hate writing a bad review about a local business, but I feel it is my responsibility to reinforce the negative reviews by other sellers warning to stay clear of this business. Joel seemed like the nicest guy in the world when we gave him a bunch of furniture and artwork for consignment after a move. However, more than half of these items were never returned and we never received any payment for them. I had emailed him after three months to ask about their status and got no response. I followed up a few months later, and only then did Joel reply to say that he was very sorry, but that the fine print of the consignment agreement that I signed stipulated that I was supposed to collect any unsold items after three months, and that now he had no idea what had happened to them after so long. I went back and looked at the agreement and he is absolutely correct about the fine print. But his claim that he doesn't know what happened to the pieces isn't remotely credible, given that everything was itemized on his computer. In hindsight I realize that I should have been more persistent in following up, so I guess shame on me. But he promised that he would contact us to pick up any unsold items, and he seemed completely trustworthy. But he says my items didn't sell, claims he didn't lose them, but says he doesn't have them. Obviously one of those claims isn't true.

Words cannot express our gratitude to Joel for his helpfulness and kindness. We came in looking for a small glass topped table simply because we needed the glass for a table we already had. He happened to have a perfect piece of glass and insisted we take it free of charge! Got it home and it is perfect! Joel has been courteous and helpful on every visit and always has some treasures on display. We highly recommend making a visit!

Your love and compassion shines through in the careful thought that you put into each wonderful display, making the awesome variety of ... even more enticing, the .... way that you always keep your customers in mind while pricing even the higher quality items (such as a fur coat) and in the Huge love in your hearts shared through your donations to charities!! ... and I absolutely love how you all interact with each other and the customers.
