On October 12, 2023 I visited the store with several of my friends as we get together from all over every year in Florida. I purchased a necklace, they said they just received in the store and only had the one.I purchased it for 90.00. The necklace was in the pouch until this morning when I arrived back home from the 2 week vacation. I went to wear it (Oct.17) for the first time and as I was putting it on it broke.Contacting the store I was told by the clerk that the owner said they hadn't had a problem with their jewelry, although I was told it was the first and only one in the shop. The clerk also told me the owner stated and there was not anything they would do. Once the item left the store (5) days ago and not worn.Have made purchases at their other location and we spoke about it but I feel the owner should have gotten on the phone, and maybe contacted the company she purchased it from to see what could be done.

This is a lovely local business in downtown Dunedin, Florida. Shop local. A fantastic selection of various things. A fun store! A must stop!

If you are a POC or a young adult stay away from this store. I am a newer resident of Dunedin and I am a huge Maileg collector for my toddler. I visited this store after seeing that they carried Maileg when walking by. I was told on several instances that certain pieces were “too expensive” for me and spoken to very rudely. Funny part is I didn’t find anything in that store “too expensive”. I have now visited the store twice and both times my toddler and I have been treated poorly. I will not be giving this store my money moving forward and advise you to stay away as well. So unfortunate since we love Maileg and they are in walking distance from our home but I rather continue to buy from Maileg directly. ETA I thought they were being rude because I’m a POC and a young adult but after reading the reviews I see this is how they treat everyone unless your throwing money in their face which is hilarious because obviously if you’re going in the store you can afford it. They really need to change the way they treat people. So sad.

Simply stunning shop every time of year. This is a hidden gem for stuffed animals- they always have the softest, cuddliest, most unique assortment in Tampa Bay- not to mention dollhouses!!! I come here for every occasion, there is absolutely something for everyone.

By far the rudest employees I’ve ever met. We always do some Christmas shopping at this store (before and after the holidays) since we’re locals but will never set foot inside this dump again - plenty of friendly small biz owners that appreciate our business . “Grumpy Old Women” should be the name of the store

I have shopped at this store for several years spending several hundred dollars every Christmas and today I went in there and they would not permit me to use the restroom. I happen to have a medical condition that causes frequent need and urgency of urination and because they sent me away and told me I had to go to the museum which is over a block away and then when I got to the museum had to go another half block to get to the restroom which caused me to wet myself. An experience that is humiliating. I returned to the store to complain and all they said was sorry but their restroom was not public. They showed no sincerity when saying "I'm sorry". Well now I have not only no need to spend money in their store but also no need to refer people to their store.

Lafayette & Rushford Home store is a small boutique store in Dunedin, Florida. This season the store is full of items for the Christmas holiday. Beautiful ornaments, napkins , soap and very cool stuffed animals. Great place for a party or buying a gift for adults and children. Great customer service.

This shop has the most beautiful things. It's a lovely experience to stop in. I feel the prices are doable as well. I was able to find some really wonderful items off-the-cuff and did not hesitate on them due to pricing, which I appreciated. I will most definitely be back over and over to see what else they curate.
