This is a great gym! If you desire diversified equipment for complete fitness, this is the place for you. I love that there are BIG dumbbells, something that is lacking in the "Big Box" corp. centers of today. The new owner is very approachable, friendly, and enthusiastically strives to make this gym a great place to train. My wife and I have been members for years, and are very happy with the new ownership. I have trained in many gyms (and even owned one for 5 years), that said, don't be deterred by the few negative reviews posted by narcissistic, victimhood warriors, who obviously pursue complaining more than training. This is a real gym, tailored for those who make health and quality of life a top priority.

This place is awesome. As a first time gym goer, Travis the owner took some time to sit down and talk about my goals for the gym and got me set up with a personal trainer. All it takes is talking to Travis to see how good of a person he and his staff is. I drive by at least 6 different gyms just to go here, that’s how much I would recommend the gym.

I'm very fortunate that I'm able to spend 2 months in sunny warm Florida instead of the Canadian cold. It's my 2nd year at The Gym and joined the day I arrived. I met Travis that 1st day and he helped get me joined up. I noticed new equipment from the previous year and more new products added in the following 2 months. Every day I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome and the words...have a good workout. And everyday I do...as well as.meeting new people. God willing I'll be looking forward to doing it all again next winter.The little dog always adds a.pleaure seeing.

Updating my review.I’ve been at this gym for about 2 months and my journey has been incredible so far. I feel safe coming here as a woman for all the ladies wanting to sign up!!! green flag. The owner gave me and my brother 3 FREE sessions with Emily, we learned so much from her! The owner is very approachable, he has helped us several times with learning machines. Anyone complaining in these reviews are extremely bitter! I am so grateful for this gym, everyone here is a team player and very nice. Machines are never hogged, people come in and out of the gym to work out not chit chat - it’s awesome. Employees always say hi and talk to me whenever i come in, never a hostile environment. You certainly won’t regret signing up here.

I don’t even live in Dunedin, but when I feel like I need a killer pump I drive out to The Gym, they have the best equipment & Staff. Another thing I love about The Gym is the music. I normally listen to some pretty hardcore stuff that gyms won’t play like Creed or Limp Bizkit but today I forgot my headphones; The Gym was playing the bangers I needed to stay focused & ended up hitting a new PR. They also have some fresh merch at the new shop, can’t wait to wear my new pump cover next time I work out at TG.

I've been a member at this gym for 20 years, today I was kicked out of the gym for complaining about the vulgar music they were playing which contained the N word and F bombs. I told the employee that it was not appropriate music for the elderly group that works out there in the morning. 30 minutes later the owner walks in and asks me to leave because I was harassing his employee. Keep in mind I have never been kicked out of anywhere in my life. I will miss the group that I work out with every morning but I won't miss the disgusting music they play everyday.In response to your response:The language I was using was reciting the lyrics from the song. Every member that works out there in the morning would have nothing but nice things to say about me. I am always helpful and courteous to all the members there. I was simply standing up for all the people that complain about the music in the morning. The few young people that work out there in the morning wear ear buds and could care less about the music that you are playing. Maybe you should consider what your AM clients like.

I was checking your gym out new to the area but after your reply to Brian Heath comments you obviously do not value your customers or the suggestions on how to make your gym better. Your 100,000 wont go far with no customers! I thought that Brian Heath had some very good suggestions for your gym and for what I was looking for. I was hoping that you would actually respond to Brian‘s constructive criticism in a better manner and maybe consider some of his ideas since I think he had some great points. Definitely he hit on a lot of points that I want in my new gym. Too bad your gym is so close to my new home i will travel 15 min away to go to my old gym which appreciates there customers.

This is truly the best gym in this area. The Gym is night and day compared to what used to be here in the best way. The gym is clean, bright, welcoming, and they have a pretty large variety of equipment. The staff members are always so friendly and seem like awesome people who are really trying to grow this gym into something great. They are still consistently updating the space and getting new equipment and training supplies so I can’t recommend this gym enough.

Don't listen to these one star reviews. The owner is so chill and down to earth. The only people who complain and leave bad reviews are old people who don't want things to change. The Gym is The Gym, not the YMCA. So much of the equipment has been refurbished, and if anything is ever damaged or needs to be fixed, it's always taken care of promptly. This is an amazing place to really workout for younger people, and it's only getting better with more and more improvements. It's come so far in the time I've been here and I can't wait to see what else is coming!

I honestly don’t have enough good words to say about this place. The atmosphere at TG is absolutely unmatched. I’ve been to many different gyms around the area and I can honestly say that TG takes the gold.I joined around the time that ownership changed and TG Dunedin was established. I have watched Travis pour his heart and soul into this place and it shows. What started as a gross, disgusting, ran down gym (WITH CARPET ? might I add) has turned into the most incredible, spotless, updated, and modern gym around. Changes are still being made every day and the best is yet to come with TG.As someone who is living hundreds of miles away from my family, I truly appreciate TG and the gym family that I have gained. I look forward to coming here everyday and surrounding myself with the most positive community that pushes me to be the best version of myself.TG for life! ?

THE BEST GYM AROUND.I have been a member for the last year and a half - previously with Dunedin family fitness - before The Gym took over the location, all I can say are my expectations are blown away. The gym has done nothing other than non-stop improvements over the last 8 months. A complete remodel on the floor and as of late improvement of equipment available. Other than the cosmetics The Gym has created a brand new environment, a community. The energy in this gym is unmatched. You see people go to work and really kill their workouts. Everyone here is super friendly and the best part is having the cutest frenchie greet you at the door before you kill your workout. I see only great things in the future for The Gym!
