I took my truck to get some service done. I was offered a 140HP tune with the service to wich I reply that I just wanted the tune needed for the service been done because I just wanted to keep the truck's stock performance. My mistake was to let him talk me into getting the performance tune. Main reason was that I was supposed to get better fuel mileage ( which I didn't get)so I agreed to it (my fault on that). When I was driving the 3 hours trip back home after the service was done I was contacted to see if everything was fine with the truck. I replied that the truck's transmission was shifing erroneously during normal driving conditions. Their reply was " That's common after a tune but it should go away after approximately 200 miles, if it doesn't bring the truck back". We'll it's been 2,300 miles and the issue created after the tune is still there. So I brought the truck back today to be checked out and I also asked to bring the truck back to stock performance mainly because of the truck blowing a lot of smoke under certain driving conditions. The guy said "You don't know anything; I'll get ( name that I don't remember) to drive the truck to see the issue. We'll he did drive it under highway conditions ( rapid accelerations ) and not during regular urban daily driving settings. The guy basically told me that the truck was bugging down because of the size 35 tires (wich are the same tires that the truck's had before the issue) and that I have to use the manual shifting switch on my automatic transsmission to prevent the early shifting. (What's the point of having an automatic transmission then) I was told before I left that they couldn't adjust the shifting points on the transmission wich I know that is not true. I resume....
1- Why after admiting by telling me that that was a common issue but it would clear after 200 miles and if it doesn't bring the truck back to fix it and ²now you said that you can't adjust the shifting points.
2- Why you tell me to bring the truck back to look at it and not even touch it.
3- I was treated like an ignorant fool by giving me BS reasons to explain me the reasons of why my truck may be shifting like that, but then said that the truck is shifting fine after the road test.
4- I felt like I was not taken serious and was passed like a hot potato
I usually don't care and look at the bad reviews because sometimes people are not happy for any reason and try to get back at the business by writing a bad review. I'm not like that. I'm just writing this one because after my personal experience I read their bad reviews and most of them are about ther indifference and lack of respect to the customers after they take their money. I'm only doing it to bring awareness about their business customer ethics. You can be tha judge about my experience with them.

I took my car in because of a mechanical problem, the car was in the shop for a day and a half, since they didn't call me, I called, they told me to look for it, that they didn't fix those types of cars (I don't understand why they received it) when I went to look, the man in the office was quite rude, he doesn't know how to treat customers, I wasted my time in that place

To start of I’m extremely disappointed with this company. I paid them more than 20K to fix my discal truck after they were well recommended by friends who had their trucks fixed. I went in for one thing and it was charged. It was suppose to be fixed. The truck kept on with the same problem and they said it was something else so more was paid to fix another problem. To make story short it was taken back more than 3 times and they always found a different issue to charge more with no guarantee because it was suppose to be something else causing the problem. Well after all visits and problem still not being solved more than 20k was taken on their behalf for fixing a problem that until this day the truck is still giving issues for. Last visit my truck had it was sitting there for a whole a whole 3 months which I couldn’t work since this car was used for car hauling. I wouldn’t be so upset if i got the problem solved. But it never did they just kept adding more to the problem other than just telling me what it had from a start. And no guarantee was all parts were placed new I guess they were experimenting every time since the problem wasn’t solved since day 1 . Yes they must be good but for brand new trucks that need maintenance only. If 0 stars was possible it will be it . They don’t even deserve 1 star.

I have a 2017 Chevy 2500 with the L5P. When I called, Willie was the person who answered. Great guy, and knows what he’s talking about! Was a huge reason I wanted to bring my truck to GAW. I needed to get a couple things done and they got me in and out within 24 hours. Meanwhile the Chevy dealership wanted me to wait 3-4 days just to tell me what the problem was…
Best part, when I drove home I had a check engine light spring and got put in limp mode with something regarding the transmission (not something that was worked on by GAW). Willie immediately sent a tow truck to pick up my truck and had it back to me with a diagnosis the same day. Complete white glove experience, the issue I had after leaving had nothing to do with GAW’s work and was a minor pre existing issue, so the fact that they had my truck picked up (on the house) so I wouldn’t do any further damage just in case, gave me even more reason to be happy with them! When I picked it up the second time both Willie and Gabby took the time to talk through what they thought the problem was and even plugged me in with the owner of a nearby transmission specialist which then fixed my issue same day because I mentioned Willie and Gabby sent me. I will go to GAW for any and all of my diesel needs moving forward! Highly recommend them, class act, fast, reasonably priced and transparent. Not all qualities you can find in one location in Miami in my experience.

Honestly Gabby, Willy and their mechanics are great and so freaking patient. I brought in a 2005 dodge ram 3500 diesel that was smoking at idle out the exhaust. It turned out not to be a simple fix and requiring me to swap the entire 5.9 24 valve. During the entire process Gabby & Willy were very patient even though my truck was taking up space in their yard until the new motor arrived. They got the entire thing cleaned up and running quick once the new engine arrived.
During the whole process they kept pricing very fair for the entire job and both of them were always upfront on my options moving forward whenever we found something else wrong.
There's a reason GAW Diesel has been around so long and its cause of the great customer service and work they do. If the truck requires anything in the future i will without hesitation take it back to them knowing its in great hands.
Thanks again GAW Diesel for getting my truck up and running perfectly!!!

If I could give them 20 stars, I would!! The team at GAW were so helpful in diagnosing and resolving the issues my car was having. They had great communication through the entire process and most importantly were HONEST!! As a woman, it can be difficult to find an honest and trustworthy mechanic. In the past 3 months, I had been to 2 different mechanics, one of which charged me for a part & service he was supposed to complete and ended up not doing. The service did not stop once I picked up my car and left the shop. William contacted me later to ensure everything was running smoothly with my car, which it was!!
I highly recommend GAW to everyone for any of the services they provide that your car may need. They have found a forever customer in me!!

I lost count of how many times these guys saved my trucks along the years, I’ve been going there on and off for about 15 years, I live far away from them but they’re definitely worth the drive, my first truck had major injector issues, all other mechanics wanted to swap motors and charge a arm and a leg, these guys saved me thousands, plus they work super fast they actually know what they are doing.
I am super cautious when it comes to mechanics and the only guys I 100% trust in touching any of my trucks are gabby and Willy. GAW DIESEL.

The dealer was trying to rip me off for over $15k. GAW had my truck towed to their place and fixed the truck did a full service and everything for less than $3k. Willie communicated with me every step of the way and they were absolutely awesome.

Excellent work team, the truck arrived at 9:00am and left at 12:30pm like new. Other mechanics gave me a false diagnosis. They recommended Gaw diesel to me and they will undoubtedly be my mechanics forever.

I want to start off by thanking Will for the excellent job he did on my truck. He finished the job quickly and was very profesional, I talked to him for about 5 minutes and I felt like I’ve known him my whole life . I am happier than ever with how my truck came out and I will definitely return as I continue to work on my truck. I highly recommend GAW.
