Columbus Capital Lending has denied our loan. We had a DU approved on August 13th, 2020. The appraisal was ordered back on August 18th, 2020. I will like you to forward this email to the bank manager. The reason for denying the loan was clarified at the beginning of our application months ago after sending you all the conditions requested including what my employer had sent to you, the loan officer, and the other officer. The bank has treated us unfairly and in a discriminatory way all the process because of our young age. Why the bank mistreated us this way. Why the bank did not care about our file, our deposit, our time. We are young that's right but we have proof that we are working for our future; there was no reason to deny the loan. The seller is living in a hotel with three kids from September 15, 2020, waiting for the bank decision and following all the timeline I am sending you. This is unbelievable. We lost our deposit with the seller, the money we invested in the process, the place I was living, and our time. I am a young professional with an AA degree and my brother has a master degree, he is an engineer in mechatronics. We both have excellent credit+700 no debt. We both have 2-year history of the same job fields. We are starting our professional life and lost our dream home thanks to Columbus Capital Lending. You guys destroyed our life and made us lose our savings and my mom's gift to us. I know we had not earned so much income in the past, but we were studying in college. We had provided to the bank all the requirements requested every time. The processor took more than one month to review our case after the appraisal. After that, the processor took a week to review any documentation we submitted the next day to our loan officer. Every week the processor had asked us the same questions and documentations forgetting what we sent previous weeks. We lost over a month with this unprofessional way of working from the bank. My brother was doing his master degree with a scholarship while working part-time as an engineering teacher in the previous years; he has two years of w-2. He graduated with the highest grades last year and had not stopped working in his field. The same for me, I had been working so hard after high school and four years' experience in my field. Also, I had been working hard towards my AA degree. We sent proof of all this information from the beginning. It's not the same having to work while in school than being a professional with a master degree and earn the same amount of money that we were earning before graduating. The bank is denying the loan because of inconsistency of the payroll in the first month in my current job. I am working in my current job four months and in the same field for mo than 3 years. My employer had explained the reasons more than once why i had worked fewe hours my first three weeks. This is the reason the bank is denying my loan? Why the bank had made me lose my deposit if this one was the first condition you asked us and we clarified it to you from the beginning? Why the bank made me get more than 20 conditions after my working hours, letters, requirements, conditions, and statements? The bank is denying the loan to us both working professional with a w-2 job for this reason? Why it took the bank more than two months to realize that this reason was enough to get us denied? Why the bank kept asking us for more conditions if the loan was not strong enough from the beginning. Also, we sent to the bank every single condition the next day and the bank waited weeks every time to answer and forgetting all the documentation submitted previously. Our attorney, our realtor, everyone asked the processor about the loan. They wanted to protect our deposit but the bank did not care at all.
