Making their own hours again. Rearranged my schedule to pick up my medication that I need to survive and I get there at 9am the time it says they open on google and on their website only to find a sign saying TODAYS Hours - opens at 12:30. This is not the first time this has happened. How in the world can WALGREENS pharmacy just decide when to open. Short staffed? Well have one or two there employees, people will understand but closing all together?

Call and check the hours first. I wrote a review yesterday and came back to update it, only to find out I couldn't edit it.I have had multiple times when I drove there just to find out that the pharmacy was closed during normal business hours. They have a sign up once you get there with "today's hours" at random times that day. It's extremely frustrating. When I went back (2nd trip) yesterday after they opened (after 12:30) the lady that works there on the drive thru pharmacy was very kind. She even noticed my medicine was much more expensive than usual and asked me if I noticed that and still wanted it without me saying a word. If they are open, the staff has always been extremely kind and helpful. Just call ahead if you can and save yourself the frustration.

Prescription department is not reliable. I drove in during open hours and prescription department was closed. Web site still posted open.

Went in for a non Covid vaccine. Made appointment online. When I arrived they had no idea about my appointment and I had to show them my email proving it. Then it took 10 minutes to figure out how to get it approved by insurance. Finally the shot. No skin preparation as in NO alcohol wipe, just jab the needle in arm. I don’t think they warmed up the shot because you could uncomfortably feel it entering.Wasn’t happy, so much so I scheduled my wife at the Walgreens down the road on HWY 98 East which went smoothly!

Absolutely do not recommend Terrible customer service. When you go to the doctor or pharmacy you're already in a vulnerable, uncomfortable state. Then on top of that I have to go get bullied by pharmacists!?!?! Not to mention how slow and unreliable they are. Don't use this pharmacy. I recommend smoking meth before you have your doctor send your prescriptions here.

Avoid the pharmacy at all cost. Dr tried to call in rx. Waited on hold for an hour and a half. She gave up. Called it in to pharmacy in our home Town. We had to go to pharmacy that wouldn’t answer and have it transferred. Then while Checking out the tech couldn’t figure out how to ring it up and said will you just pay full price. I can’t figure out the insurance. We pay $0 as we met our deductible all ready.

I left the dr office,feeling pretty bad with severre cough and chest congestion. Went through the drive through to drop off my script but as soon as I pulled off, I had a question about using goodrx to save some money. I called as I pulled away and was on hold from 11:02 tò1;32 before finally getting disconnected. I called back at 3;05 and was on hold for 49 mins before being disconnected. At 6;10, I was on hold for 26 mins before I gave up and called the manager of the store. He sent the call to the pharmacy where I held for 10 mins to finally being connected to pharmacist who told me that they could.not wait on the people in the store efficiently, much less answer the phone. So if this is the case then this means, they are encouraging people to hold with full intentions of NEVRR picking up that phone. Then why don't you just say that rather than leaving a message saying that someone will be right with you. I called the customer service line and guess what??? The SAME EXACT SCENARIO.. Is this what Walgreens has come to? In that case, I will find elsewhere to conduct my business

Avoid if you value your time. I am currently at drive-in line almost 32 min. to pick up prescription. I am third car back now. They have only served two cars. See other ratings. I believe they have earned every one. Will ask Dr not to make this mistake contacting this branch ever again.

I have called Walgreens in Destin twice today, and both times was placed on hold by the computer only to sit there for more than 16 minutes the first time, then I called back and waited 18 minutes before they picked up the second time! The guy was totally not customer service oriented, and because I had filled my script at the P.C. Beach location a month prior, he claimed it would take 24 hours to transfer it! I have transferred quite a few prescriptions in the past, including between different states within one hour! I then called Walgreens in Panama City Beach where I got it filled before, and got someone almost immediately! Whoever has the contract on the San Destin store needs to be removed!

Horrible customer service. Made holiday cards online be they printed out terribly. When asking for redo they were not helpful at all. Store manager not flexible nor customer friendly. Don't go there! Walmart , target or CVS better options

My prescription was not covered by my insurance and it was unbelievably expensive. Briana was so kind to find a discount card that enabled me to purchase it.She was very patient and helpful.Thank you Walgreens!

I hope you don’t need to reach anyone by phone. After sitting on hold with the pharmacy for over 30 min I conveniently get disconnected. Called back and have been waiting over 30 min again. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

I called to have my boyfriends prescriptions refilled and was waiting for over 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone. After getting tired of waiting on the phone i went to the pharmacy only to be ignored by the pharmacist that was standing there not helping anyone. There was one female pharmacist and one female technician with long brown hair that did not acknowledge i was standing there.
