I can’t say enough about this sweet school and a blessing it has been for our little girl. The owner is always present, the teachers are the sweetest, and my little girl has learned so much in just the short time she has attended. We live in Santa Rosa Beach, but this school is worth the drive each day. Highly recommend

We absolutely love this school. We are so grateful for all of the staff and the leadership. It is a breath of fresh air knowing we can drop our children off, go to work and not worry whether everyone is going to be okay. THANK YOU, ROANE SCHOOL, for loving our children like your own. We love all of you so much!

The Roane school is great. Our son loves it there, the teachers are amazing. They have plenty of space indoors and out. I can’t think of a better place for my son to be cared for.

“Our” child (my nephew, whom I love as my own) thrived at Roane School in Destin where we attended for years. Do not miss the opportunity to lean on the dedicated staff who we found to be as tuned into our kid’s plot as we were. The accessibility of the director and the impromptu chats at drop off or pick up were invaluable. Thank you for taking care of us and the joy and love you’ve shown our family.

So incredibly grateful for this school. The patience and love they show to each and every child is insurmountable. They truly know what they are doing when it comes to children. THANK YOU!

My 2 year old daughter has been at this daycare for 1 month. So far, she has developed a better eating habit and better social skills. She does a lot more than she would at home with all the activities they have planned including all the fun arts and crafts she gets to take home. I absolutely love her teacher, Ale. She is great and always gives us a great update of our daughter's day (foods she ate, sleeping habits, restroom updates, etc). So great, that when we tried to pull our daughters hair up in a ponytail, she said she waned Ale to do it. LOL Ale has made our daughters first transition into a daycare am easy and wonderful time. Thanks Roane School!

If you’re fine with having your infant locked in a secure area and only attended to for a diaper change or meal then this will work for you.Let me just share what I wrote the director and her response:Dear Betty,I have made the decision to withdrawal S****** from the Roane School (suite A) for these reasons:Although he is provided with a safe environment and his needs are taken care of, I don’t see the staff making an effort to engage with him or the infants of his skill level. At this skill level I see them fenced off on one side of the room and have yet to see any staff on that side. Whenever I come to pick him up he and others are standing at the gate, usually crying for interaction. They should not be in isolation from the staff just because they have their mobility. Infants at this age are learning by observation but there is no one taking the time to be with them.Secondly it does not feel like a friendly atmosphere and the staff is reluctant to show emotions of happiness or a smile which infants feed off of emotions. In the time S****** has been there he went from being fine watching me leave because he was in someone else’s care to crying when I bring him through the front door. No one has established a connection with him required to make him feel safe and comfortable. Not taking a bottle for anyone is a great indication of this.He has been in the care of another sitter outside of my home since he turned 3 months old and he has sitters outside of daycare now. He seems happy when he is with them and takes a bottle for them as well, I don’t see him carrying on in tears like at daycare. This suite, unfortunately, is not the right fit for S******. He is such a happy, loving baby but that is not the case when he is in suite A.Sincerely,RESPONSE:Christina,I received your notice to withdraw. As I read it, I could understand your decision to leave. The thoughts and feelings that you shared are not what I would want for any our parents to have. I spoke with the ladies that work in the classroom, and they too feel that The Roane School was not a good fit for S******. We wish you only the best.Regards,My Response Back:Yes, when a staff member is telling me that my 10 month old “should seek therapy because separation anxiety is not normal.” Something just isn’t right.Wish you all the best and hope something is corrected for the other infants put in isolation.Sincerely,

Please go somewhere else!! Schedule multiple tours in different schools to see the difference.Lack of care, lack of staff, lack of knowledge creating not a good environment. Today my 3 year old came home with two diapers on at the same time full of pee!!!!!! It's a last straw, i saved those diapers to throw them in ugly Beth face tomorrow. Please people stay away. She is like nightmare on Elm street. We are running away.

Great school! I did an internship there. Children play but learn as they play. Children are always engaged in learning.
