Not as depicted in pictures on line. Balcony faces a busy street. We reserved a 1 bedroom deluxe that showed a water view. The room was not up to Wyndham standards. Kitchen was dirty, cabinets had old dried food on them, ice maker did not work. Master bath had green mold on the back of the bathroom door as well as in the ceiling above the shower that was patched but still clearly not patched correctly. The mold smell was not appropriate for anyone to stay in this room. The shower in the 2nd bathroom you could not use because the door was not on the hinges properly and the water shot out of the shower onto the floor which causes a hazard with slip and fall. I attempted to use the master bath shower and we could not get the shower knob to pull up to turn the shower on. The ceiling fan sounded like a jet taking off due to being unbalanced. The microwave should have been replaced because previously it must have had metal in it because the inside of the door showed melted glass and burn marks on the walls of the microwave. The integrity of the glass door was compromised and you should never use a microwave with a damaged door, as it can lead to harmful radiation exposure. also the hot tub was roped off and could not be used. I wrote to Wyndham within a few days of leaving the resort, they requested pictures which I sent but they never replied. My husband did a survey that was sent to him and received a call that they would refund 50% of the points and could not refund the $150 fee we paid for housekeeping but gave a credit. I finally heard from an Amy Hensley who said our case was closed since we accepted 50% of the points being refunded I was not satisfied with this because this room should have never been given to anyone to use based on its condition. I should have been refunded 100% of points and advised her she should have responded sooner after she requested the pictures. I wrote to her again requesting upper management to contact me and she responded back "I understand your frustration. Owner Services (which is the umbrella I am under) is a supervisor team and we are considered the “upper management” I am sure there is someone above Ms. Hensley but she is refusing to allow me to speak to someone. So I am now posting this with pictures to warn other people. Mind you we own many points and usually have to carry them over since we never use them all so this is a matter of principal not the matter of needing points. We pay $240 a month in maintenance fees along with other owners of Wyndham and no property should be like this. Wyndham's customer service is lacking and not willing to take responsibility for issues but willing to rent these condo's out which is not even managed by Wyndham.Rooms: Not up to Wyndham's standard. Balcony faces a noisy street. Not as described. Very disappointed and I have stayed at many Wyndham properties that are not in the condition of this one.

Been here twice in as many months for large group meetings. Spending THOUSANDS for rooms, meals, meeting space, etc. The last time as I was leaving and on my third load of stuff I asked if it would okay for me to get a trolley. The bellman mumbles “I don’t have all day to wait on this” and says to leave my ID at the desk as carts are only for guests with luggage. I am empty-handed. I don’t have my ID with me, I don’t have time to go all the way out to get it as I’m trying to get out and get folks to their destinations on time. I said that I didn’t have time and proceeded to the elevator and the bellman goes to the front desk to trash talk me. Sound carries WELL in that hallway, I can hear it. I walk out of the hall and tell them that I can clearly hear them and now the bellman wants to argue me down?!?!? I said “I was just asking for a little help.” He said “you’re just mad because you didn’t get the answer you wanted.” WHAT?? No! I’m upset that this is how you think you treat people. I had been there THREE DAYS. I’m a guest, I had luggage, and I arranged this meeting. The young lady at the desk heard all this and apologized but that gentleman needs to slow down and learn some people skills. Holy cow. Will be recommending that we spend our money at another facility in the future. Very unprofessional.Rooms: Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable

If you like to get woken up at 7:30 by maintenance drilling through a wall or something to the point it sounds like you’re entire room is vibrating for hours then this is the place for you!

It had become a family tradition in the past few years for us to come stay at the Emerald Grande to bring in the new year. This past year, we weren’t able to, but still wanted to enjoy New Years festivities at Harbourwalk. We parked our car a few lots over from the Emerald Grande and behind Coyote Ugly. Then, after returning back to the parking lot not even two hours later, we discovered our car was gone. With no signs that indicated they were towing and the fact that we pulled into a spot that another family had just pulled out of, we were at a loss.We went into the Emerald Grande to speak to staff. They informed us that our car got towed because it was parked atop a line, which was not visible to us given that it was night and we had parked in a rocky/sandy spot. They then told us the towing company we needed to go to to get our car(Destin Towing). We had to pay $175 in cash at 11:30pm on New Years Eve to get our car back.I post this review as a warning to those who enjoy HarborWalk Village and the Emerald Grande. Make sure you wear your spectacles so you can ensure you park inside the faded lines and not an inch over. And in the case that you make this mistake, know that there are no signs around to indicate that they are towing or which towing company you need to contact to get your car back.

We have stayed at the Emerald Grande several times in the past and have always had a great experience. However on New Years Eve we were not guests, but parked near the hotel, close to the boardwalk. When we were ready to leave our car was gone. We were told by the manager at the Emerald Grande that we were not in a parking spot. He showed a pic where our wheels were slightly over a line which we could not see when we arrived because it was dark. There was a car there when we arrived, one parked there when we left, a car parked in front of the spot, and no signs indicating this was a no parking area (although there were signs on the other side of the row of cars). We were not blocking the flow of traffic in any way. We ended up spending the rest of New Years Eve walking to the towing company (once we figured out where that was) and paying $175 to get our car back plus $5 atm fee because they only take cash and you are forced to use the atm at the towing place (Destin Towing). I hope that the Emerald Grande gets a cut of that profit and that they use it to improve the markings and signage in the parking lot so others don’t need to deal with this nonsense.

We are locals that don't normally come to the harbor area, but our recent visit was very enjoyable and we loved watching the sunset on the docks! We asked two handsome security staff for directions (one had glasses and one with cool tattoos, can't remember the names), but they were very friendly and also gave us a restaurant recommendation to check out. We felt very safe and welcomed!!

The location is great, amenities at hotel great. But be careful with the rooms you get. We had issues from broken washer and dryer to the entire kitchen pipes fell out while we were using the sink and water spilled all over the floor.

We've enjoyed new years at Emerald Grande for the last few years. It is always such an enjoyable experience.Rooms: Well appointed and spacious roomsWalkability: Many venues within walking distance. Many improvements have been made since last year.Food & drinks: The in house restaurant is as good as any nearby and somewhat more comfortable and affordable.

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful place and right on the water. Only downside was grocery shopping and such was far to get to. Definitely needed a car. Uber was very expensive!
