This place isn't touristy as the other souvenir shops like Alvin's or others. It's geared more toward t-shirts, towels and other beach gear and clothing with less trinkets.They have some good deals at the end of the season for sure.

I stopped by before breakfast just after 9AM, the doors were locked. OK maybe they’re running late so I went to breakfast and then came back. The doors were still locked.Yesterday my wife convinced me to give it another chance as we were leaving early the best day to go home, she thought they might have some little things we could get for our coworkers. We showed up at 615PM and the doors were locked with customers inside. When I inquired why the doors were locked a rude employee said they were already closed. The hours said they closed at 700PM. The employee said now we’re already closed and shut the door. Rude and lazy is no way to go through life.

Would not recommend. Staff is rude when asking where's the $5 stuff. Although the store is called $5 beach store, they have NOTHINGGGG that is $5. 100% false advertising. They have stickers that say $5 off price shown & prices on the tag were $11.99 but after going to the counter they say it's already applied... worst tourist store ever. ZERO STARS

I would give this place no stars if it was an option. Do not go here for anything. We showed just showed up around 4:35 to try and make a quick purchase and door was locked... The sign on the door clearly sais they closed at 5:00pm. They very rude attendant had her belongings with her in hand and said she had to make a bank deposit mind you it is Sunday... make it make sense. RUDE!

Terrible. We tried to return two unused boogie boards still sealed in the original packaging because another family member bought two that were opened and used. No return only credit. I don't need any more garbage with Destin on it!!!!!!Never will shop any of your stores again!!!!!!We usually make the annual trek into your stores to buy stuff. Done!

This a joke and misleading. There were not very many things in there for $5. This is a trap to get you in there so you can pay higher prices for everything else. There is definitely better shopping all over Destin this is a tourist trap

This store wasn't anything as it advertised. I didn't see much of anything for $5 in there. In fact they should rename the store " Almost Nothing $5 Beach Store"

Tourist trap, all these locations are basically the same. Having said that, my kids spent a small fortune in each store i believe.
