“The Deland Cat Cafe is such an amazing place. Parking is a bit limited when it’s busy. Walk ins are available, but it’s always good to make an appointment so that you don’t have a long wait to meet all the kitties! There’s a separate room for the kittens and you need to wait your turn before visiting them. There’s plenty of seating and toys to play with the cats. This is the best place to experience a cat before adopting! We got our first kitten from the Halifax Humane Society and our second cat here! The cafe is in a complete separate building so there’s no worry about the animals. I would eat and grab a coffee first then head over to the kitties! Bring your own carrier! Pick up/Take home days are Tuesdays and Thursdays !”

“We have lived in DeLand for 3.5 years and my biggest regret is not checking out this place sooner! We are starting a new flock and wanted to get chicks locally but couldn’t find any that caught my eye until I stumbled upon their Facebook posts showing what they have arriving every week. I stopped in this morning to pick up 3 chicks that I saw and walked out with 5… chicken math… Excellent customer service and so much in stock for all of your needs. We will definitely be returning when I make more room for more chickens.”

“What a great experience. I had just brought home my new Adopted Dog and didn't have any supplies. They really bent over backwards to deal with all my questions and even helped me out with an Online Discount Special they were having that week. Also the prices and selections are much better than Petsmart. Although i frequent both equally, I think this store will be my Go-To now though. Thanks Guys!”

“My little dog has a lot of anxiety and I can barely trim her nails and we walked in and they took her in and the tech was super patient with her. I didn’t get her name but I appreciate you so much! I’m going to continue brining my dog here, great place”
“I've been coming here for 4 years and the staff is absolutely incredible everybody is very friendly and cordial I recommend the puppy bath for $10 it's worth it to give your dog a bath I have a wide selection of food and toys I'm always in there and additional animals I recently became homeless I called and asked if they had the dogs food in and they said no but they had some food that they wanted to donate to give to my puppy and they did because I've been bringing him in for the last 4 years they've seen us all the time and I just asked for some kind of help because they didn't have his food and they gave me some food for my dog so he can eat while we're homeless everyone is very friendly they told me to come back anytime if you just want to come in and give the dog a bath just walk around just to stay safe they're really really nice people in here I mean I'm very pleasantly surprised how kind and courteous the staff truly is and I highly recommend coming here it really is a treasure for animalsI came in on January the 8th 2024 and I spoke to Christina and I told Christina that I'm homeless I wanted to know if there's anything they can do to help me get dog food for my service animal since we're homeless and Orange City and she went out of her way and made sure that she gave us two bags of dog food and treats for my dog so he wouldn't starve while we're homeless so I just wanted to thank Christina for everything she did and I went back in today and got buddy his treats and she was more than helpful I highly recommend this place they do care they also said that I can come back anytime I want to just hang out if I want to stay comfortable so the dog doesn't have to be in any danger so I highly recommend if you have a furry friend or looking for a friend come on out here they will treat you like family”

He went to the back multiple times and got things- and even helped me pack them. Elizabeth at the register was very friendly and even ran all the way outside to my car when I forgot my receipt. We have fallen in love with The Funky Mutt staff, extra shoutout to Justin & Jade who have taken special care of our Juke for years now. The staff is so kind, and you can visibly see the love they have for the dogs. This place is a blessing for dog owners, and we truly feel so happy knowing our boy is in great hands here! “Our groomer, Adriana, is the best!. She has refined skills and you can see it in the perfectioned cuts and styling that our Milo gets. Not a hair out of place. Adriana is good with our Milo and our Milo adores her. We won't go anywhere else.”
“I was a "walk in" with my dog for a nail clip. Staff was friendly and efficient (make sure you ring the 'doorbell' near one of the registers). After his "pedicure" we walked around the store and found a lot of sales and/or clearance items. Front of store cashiers were equally friendly (as were all the other dog owners we saw?) and efficient. All in all, a good visit.”

“I took my cat here, she was having seizures and I thought I was going to lose her. They did some tests and found out what the problem most likely is so she went on medication. It took a couple of weeks for the medication to work but I’ve never felt so happy. She hasn’t had seizures in over a month or two and has been playing, being crazy and herself. This place is the reason my cat can be active and happy again. As well as myself. :) I will be bringing both my kitties here permanently. I trust them whole heartedly Thank you guys for everything you do and did. You have no idea the true impact it has to know your baby is going to be okay :)”

“I have been coming to petco for years since I have 3 dogs. There was a young lady at the register I believe her name was Gisselle. She helped me out at the counter and she was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions since I was interested in new brand of dry food for my pups. This location a Great place to get all necessities for your pets and staff is very helpful!!!”
