I really wanted to like this hotel but was very disappointed. I would avoid this hotel for the following reasons: 1) the front desk is not friendly, 2) the towel service person at the rooftop pool is not helpful (did not give us any towels after setting up the chairs, had to ask for it), 3) pool is icy cold (not heated), 4) expensive, not worth the money. Pros: 1) gym has lots of machines and treadmills, 2) nice decor in the lobby.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. They let us check in early so we could shower after our flight. Everyone was so friendly, and would open all the doors for us. I truly am not used to that behavior and it’s the little things like that, that make it feel like a vacation!Room was gorgeous, awesome nespresso machine, pool was great and Austin was super helpful. When it was rainy Saturday they gave us umbrellas to borrow for the day!We took the moke shuttle to the beach and our driver was so friendly! We then got access to beach chairs and umbrella to enjoy the day oceanfront. They also gave us a complimentary beach bag with some towels to borrow. Thanks again for everything! Will definitely recommend and come back.Walkability: The pineapple grove district is very walkable with great restaurants and live music.

Customer service is clearly not first and foremost of importance for your team. When entering the hotel a Valet named Bruno advised that they were at full capacity unless staying overnight. My husband proceeded to advise him we were staying overnight- he immediately responded saying we were lying we were here for the restaurant. I advised we had a reservation and he responded- yeah let’s see what happens when you go to the desk you won’t gets your car back. I was absolutely taken back. I am here celebrating my husband’s birthday.

The hotel is beautiful when you drive in. The staff at the front desk were so attentive to us and ready to please. The lobby is nice along with the hallways to the rooms. There is a restaurant/bar on the rooftop that has good music playing while you’re out on the pool. The amenities offered, such as the shuttle to the beach, towels and chairs made this staycation extra special. The restaurant attached to the hotel was great, service and food.Rooms: Spacious room. Comfortable bed, loved the Nespresso machine available for morning coffee. There was plenty of closet space and the bathroom had a nice style. The shower heads I was told were all replaced to a simple spout that seemed to belong at the pool showers. The images of the bathrooms show the original waterworks rain-shower head which is beautiful. I also had them replace the bulbs in the bedside lamps which were out.Safety: Safe area all around it feltWalkability: We didn’t use the car in our time here. Everything we needed was walking distance from the hotel.Food & drinks: The restaurant downstairs was great. Expensive but worth it for a special night outNoteworthy details: Free transport to and from the beach. Also given a voucher to rent beach chairs and umbrellas.

As a local event planner for over 14 years, I am beside myself when I say this is one of the worst hotel experiences I have had for an event for my clients. We expected so much from a new venue, but from the start, I known when the event changing frequently and we were bounced around many times. We kept planning even though we barely had communication with any staff. I had to call and email multiple times to finally get help. Months with no response and their offices are not even on site. The day of the event was a disaster. The staff was unhelpful, rude, and not willing to be bothered with any additional work. It poured on the rooftop event and we had to move the event inside the ballroom, and nothing was moved, until my staff starting pushing the venue staff to assist with moving tables and chairs for 100 guests. Total embarrassment for my clients and their guests, as they were standing around holding plates. The on site coordinator left before all the chaos began. My clients had to load their own car at the end of the event with no help from the venue. Not one bell cart available, valet was sloppy. I can keep going. Just a mess all around. As an event planner, I’mbeyond embarrassed that I even referred this venue. This place needs to learn how to accommodate guests that are spending their money on. Very very poor business practices. Stay away for an event! Zero stars all the way around.

Rooms are on the smaller side with very basic amenities. Disappointed that they do not provide free water bottles in the room like many other hotels do. Hard to get extra towels or pillows. No information provided on all of the hotel amenities and services. No room service and many of the on-site restaurants were closed for various reasons during our stay. Staff was very friendly, however seemed to be doing additional duties or not fully informed to answer the questions being asked.Overall, will be looking for a different hotel or AirBnb next time I’m in Delray Beach.Nearby activities: Restaurants, bars and shopping.Walkability: Great location and close to lots of restaurants, bars and shops.

I would never recommend this hotel. The limited staff is evidently overwhelmed, and they seem so miserable. Upon exiting the elevators in the morning to head to breakfast or walk the ave, staff does not pick up their heads to greet you with a hello or even simplier, a smile. The valet is abrupt, rude and off putting. Apart from 2 nice women at the front desk that worked night shifts, the front desk staff is short, unwelcoming and rude. The downstairs Stingers grab & go seemed to never have an employee present- and she was not only taking all the orders for coffee to go but overwhelmingly taking all the outside seating area’s breakfast sit down orders as well. Majority of the pool staff is rude, no one smiles, the staff is just miserable. I have never had such a terrible experience at a hotel. The bicycles that are available seats can not be adjusted without a screw driver and we’re useless. Other than this hotel being nestled off the Ave with a great location, I just would never ever recommend this hotel. Being away should feel like an escape and an ease and adventure, this place falls short on customer service. The cool aesthetic does not match the customer experience what so ever. Nonetheless we had an intimate wedding at this hotel during our stay, and the outside speakers were broken, majority of the bulb lights were broken, they served guests coffee and tea out of styrofoam cups, had limited utensils. The whole experience was just so bizarre! My wedding planner said she has never seen such an unpleasant, uncooperative staff in her entire career. There are so many hotels that would welcome your business and treat you as a valued guest.

This boutique hotel is amazing! Remember if you’re booking here it’s a BOUTIQUE hotel, not a resort. I’ve read some other reviews and I stay here often and have not had any issue others have had. The rooms are always clean, staff is always kind and accommodating, the restaurants are fantastic. It is a nice walk to Atlantic Avenue where there are shops and more great restaurants, and a nice walk to the ocean. The gym at the hotel is top notch also! Can’t say enough about this hotel! You won’t regret staying here.

Never staying here again. This hotel was bizarre. There was hardly any staff present, the small convenience store in the lobby had no attendant despite standing there for 15 minutes. Rooftop restaurant isn’t open for breakfast anymore and there is no room service option at all.It seemed every employee was a college kid and most of the housekeeping looks absolutely miserable. Are you not taking care of your employees? Because it shows.Something isn’t right with this hotel, incredibly surprised it’s a Hilton. Keep in mind parking is 40 dollars a day. Even luxury hotels far beyond this caliber are at 25/day. It’s explosive. Never staying here again.Pro: Location. But you’re better off at the Hyatt Place or Opal Grand.

Their $25 valet service returned my car with the automatic headlights disabled. If you are going to turn them off, at least turn them back on before returning the vehicle. Awful service at their rooftop restaurant and the food was awful. Will not return.

We stayed at The Ray, in downtown Delray Beach, Florida. The hotel is located in the Pineapple Grove Arts district and a mile from the ocean. It was a very interesting space with modern ambience, yet featuring living walls and immersive art.The room was comfortable and nicely furnished, with Frette linens, and -- get this -- Byredo products in Mojave Ghost, my favorite fragrance. I mean Mojave Ghost hand soap, shower gel, lotion. No one, I mean no one, understands my joy. Who else can I tell that would understand? I was bathing in this stuff. Sadly, they did not have travel size toiletries because my suitcase would have been full. To the brim.Anyways, it was strange to have a window in the bathroom looking into the bedroom (or is it a window in the bedroom looking into the bathroom?).There was a small balcony looking out to the LAWN where they had workout sessions and yoga. There is a beautiful rooftop lounge/ restaurant. This is a great location among all the lively restaurants and bars and a short distance to the beach. It's also a short walk to the Delray Beach Tennis Center where they host the Delray Beach Open in February.

From the moment we pulled up to The Ray Hotel, I knew this was going to be a perfect weekend. The valet was so nice and accommodating. Tom at check in was outstanding! Tom knew everything I was looking for, acknowledged me as a Diamond Member and went above and beyond. When we got to the room it was exactly what I thought it would be and more. Immaculate well appointed guest room. Before going to dinner, we went up to Rosewater and had drinks/appetizers. The appetizer's were delicious and drinks were perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed!!The Ray Hotel was the perfect choice in Delray Beach. I look forward to returning and plan to book clients as I know they will absolutely love it.Thank you for a great stay!
