Shopping at Publix is definitely an experience like their commercial says. I wish I could shop there everyday, so many yummy things; it's my favorite supermarket

Save yourself some aggravation and find a CVS or a Walgreens. This has to be the worst pharmacy we've been to, ever. One "Pharmacist" in particular. A tall, dark haired bully that will antagonize the customer rather than spend a moment looking in the bin for a readied prescription. This is our third occasion where the automated Publix system has notified us of LIFE SUSTAINING medicine being ready, only to be forced to deal with this individual at the counter that is both dismissive and rude, refusing to even look for the drugs. On one occasion, I got rude enough to force him to actually look for the prescription and, not surprisingly, it was there the whole time. Publix has become just another Walmart. We're done with them.

I don't shop here often as this is not my favorite Publix. As I do really love convenience, there are times when I run in just to grab an item or two. This location is located in the Villages of Oriole Plaza, same plaza as McDonald's and Pet Supermarket. My issue with this store is that they have very little inventory. Not just now, but for the last few years. Another issue I have is that they don't keep their products organized. The problem is with the store management. They simply don't manage their staff or properly train them. I see lots of employees, but I don't see them working. I see them on their phones or huddled together chit-chatting. I waited for quite a few minutes to get assistance in the deli. No, they weren't short on help, but the delay was due to their deli staff chit-chatting about when they will take their breaks and what type of subs they planned on making for themselves. This has happened to me on two different occasions. The bakery is the absolute worst when it comes to customer service. They offer no help whatsoever, even when asked. In my opinion, they just don't care about the customers, but they do care about their phones. I see constant texting, and they prioritize their phone activity over helping customers. I am truly baffled as to how some employees manage to keep their jobs. Right, it comes down to their lack of management. I was waiting in line to pay for my three items. Two people were ahead of me. No problem, right? Waiting your turn is normal, right? But, an employee was allowed to cut in front of me to pay for his sub and drink. Why? Because he was on his break. Is my time not valuable?!? If he had asked me if he could go ahead of me, I would have said yes, no problem. However, I wasn't asked. The cashier made this decision for me, which wasn't very nice or professional. This should be a one star review, but I am ending this review on a positive note. The 2nd star is because this is a large plaza which includes lots of available parking spots.

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. This Publix has a pleasant ambiance and serves its community very well.I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.

I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the deli. The absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered anywher. Rude non helpful angry snap at you employees. I've complained to the management and all the store manager can say is I know our deli associates are terribl. He said it's the only department we can't find the right help. To me that's a bad manager. Fire them all and get some new ones. I have to admit the rest of the store is great. It's just the deli. Shame shame. That used to be my favorite Publix. But no more

I live very close and I’d rather drive 10 miles to a different pharmacy than go there. I like the store but avoid the pharmacy.

This is not my usual Publix for shopping, but I might need to change that. The primary reason for the review was for the exceptional service by Baylee, the cashier. Friendly, knowledgeable, and in all my years shopping, she packed the bag perfect. I hope management sees this.

I shop at this Market Place Publix location always. The employees are friendly and the place is clean. However the last three times I shopped for groceries I picked up Dole pineapple mango juice, I didn't check the expiration date because the shelf looked like it was just stocked. When I got home I opened it the next day and it tasted awful. Looked at the exp. date it was expired on this day of 8/11. I tossed it. I also purchased apple cider from the same area just under the orange juice. I opened that up after tossing the juice and noticed that the cider had an exp. date of 8/2! It was 8/11. I couldn't believe that BOTH juices were expired. Last week I shopped again this time checking the dates on things .....except for cocktail sauce for seafood. I just picked it up and didn't check. Yup,...this was was Expired as of DECEMBER 12, 2020!!!! EIGHT MONTHS out of expiration!!! WTH is going on with this store??!! I spoke to an employee putting out produce and told him to check dates because I had to throw out 2 items out of expiration. He said to bring them back for exchange. Yeah, like I live down the street, not. But I am returning the cocktail sauce for sure. I saw a review from a different Delray Publix with the same issue. The managers need to get out if their offices and check what's being put on the shelves because the stock people aren't! ***Beware of the expiration dates when you shop at Publix. ****
