These guys are pretty good at repairing transmissions.....that's about it. They noticed my upper control arms and wheel bearings were also worn. Had them fix that. When I got the car back, it shifted good, but would jump erratically to the left or right when braking or hitting a bump. I jacked up the front driver's side wheel and could easily wiggle it. I thought it was the wheel bearing but then noticed the tie rod end was the culprit. Fixed that. I checked the passenger side and it was tight....but then noticed the nut on top of the sway bar link was missing. The whole sway bar link bumpers were almost gone. Replaced that. Went bac to the driver's side to adjust the toe in....and noticed the nut on top of that sway bar link missing too. They gave me back a car that was totally unsafe to drive.

Repaired my transmission at a reasonable price. 6 months later, sensor went bad. Fixed problem immediately and at no charge. Would highly recommend them.

I had my transmission worked on by these guys several months ago. Wanted to be spot on with my review. My 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser got a full rebuild and drives like new. I would recommend this shop, the owner was very knowledgeable and honest. Great job.

They rebuilt my transmission for $3700 and after having it a week said to pick it up btw there's engine vibration and you should go to your mechanic and come back when we know how to fix the radio which isn't working now. The car never vibrated before, I could feel this in the steering wheel A LOT and the whole dashboard was shaking ! -i can't take the car like this what happened? After some stressful back and forth, almost arguing ! ! they said ' we " ll take the car apart again and change the torque converter'. When I picked it up again the shaking had stopped because it WAS the torque converter (glad it occured to them the second time) and radio worked. Brought it home, saw oil on garage floor first morning figuring it was the work but it hasn't stopped.. there IS a NEW oil leak... They are exhausting to deal with, too much to follow up on, a third trip is necessary? I'm dreading dealing with them again. Yikes!

Rick really took care of us. We drove down from NY & our drive shaft went. He was able to get the part that we needed from Dodge & install it for a great price. One of our biggest fears when driving down was if something happened, we wouldn't be able to find a trustworthy mechanic. We consider ourselves lucky we found Performance Transmissions & HIGHLY recommend them to everyone

Excellent communication/Fair pricing/ Above and beyond Service - I brought my truck in by appt. Owner was thorough and informative. My truck broke down on the way home due to another issue and I called him.. Even though it wasn't transmission issue, he stopped on the highway to see what he could do to assist. A++++ Where service and honesty leaves this industry.. They showed up. Thank you Performance.

Worst transmission shop ever. Took my newly rebuilt transmission that speedy put back multiple times in a year and they said everything was fine. Finally took ot to the dealer and they told me transmission was burnt up because performance, didn't put the cooler on for the chat the cvt , transmission has to have in order to stay cool. This shop is a complete rip off and due your self a favor and go through the dealer for any transmission issues with your vehicle.Service: Transmission

This is the only place I would use for Transmissions. I recommend this company to anyone. Mel and the boys got our Mini Cooper going again.
