I would first like to express my gratitute for the loving care and compassion shown by Dr. Edelson and his incredible staff during a trying time in having to say goodbye to our 17 year old Havanese dog whom we had since he was a puppy. This wonderful group had been caring for our dog for years which I can attribute to his long healthy life. Thank you so much for making a difficult time easier on me and my family. I highly recomment Imperial Point Animal Hospital and Dr. Edelson as a truly excellent center of care for our pets!

Finding a vet you can trust is like finding a needle in a haystack, but Imperial Point Animal Hospital of Delray is that rare gem. From the moment my frienchies and I step in, we are treated with such warmth and professionalism that I always know we are in good hands. The staff here are not just professionals; they're animal lovers through and through. They always greet my pet by name, which was a nice personal touch that really set the tone for our visit. The entire staff always takes the time to listen to all our concerns, no matter how small, and provided clear, compassionate advice for my pet's care. What really stands out to me is the level of care and attention to detail. They follow up after our visit to check on my pet's progress, which shows they truly care about their furry patients' well-being beyond just the office visit. Dr. Rodrigo and Dr. Gary are experts at what they do and I cannot express how thankful I am for them. They truly put you as a pet owner at ease and assure you that they have everything handled. The trust is built and solidified from day 1! The facility is clean, modern, and has a calming atmosphere, which is so important when you have an anxious pet. And despite the high level of service, the prices are very reasonable. Imperial Point Animal Hospital of Delray has earned my complete trust and gratitude for their exceptional care. It's clear they put animals' well-being first, and that's why they deserve nothing less than 5 stars. I can't recommend them enough to any pet owner looking for top-notch veterinary care. For additional context, they are located an hour away from where I live and I specifically go there knowing that all will be taken care of. I don't even do this for myself!! They also know that my frenchies get car sick and try to save me the trouble of coming in by providing over the phone consultations.

I am not one to write bad reviews ever but my experience here was unacceptable. I dropped my 100% healthy dog off for a dental cleaning and was called back stating that based on her labs, they could not proceed with the cleaning because she was in severe renal failure and her prognosis was poor. I was shocked and horrified that my asymptomatic, well-appearing dog could have such a morbid diagnosis without showing any signs of illness, so I requested that they repeat the labs. For the next hour I struggled emotionally with the knowledge that my seemingly healthy dog had been diagnosed with a fatal disease for which there are few treatments. I took off work and sat in a parking lot crying. Then they called me back and said that all of the repeated labs were completely fine and that the sample had been contaminated. All this is horrible to start with, but the most inexcusable part of it all is that when I finally got to see the contaminated labs, it became very clear to me (as a human medical professional) that the lab error should have been caught well before the information made it to my ears. For example, the labs stated that my dog's potassium level was 44.2 where normal is 5.5, creatinine was 152.9 where normal is 1.6, phosphorus was 20.6 where normal is 6. These levels are simply not compatible with life and any animal would be extremely dead already if that were an accurate value. That is just one example of the lab values that were so outlandishly far from the normal range that any well-educated veterinarian who is paying any attention would have noticed. Instead this vet called me and told me my healthy 6 year old dog was dying of kidney failure and would have proceeded to treat her as such if I had not requested that her labs be repeated. The vet even remarked "with a phosphorus this high we would expect to see vomiting." I'm quite certain you would see more than vomiting with a level that high, but his remark shows me that the vet actually saw the erroneous value and lacked the basic understanding of physiology to interpret that it could not possibly be correct. I can understand that laboratories make mistakes when processing samples, but the error on the veterinarian's part is completely unacceptable and careless. It's a shame to have had such a horrific experience because my prior visits with this vet were overall positive. The owner of the animal hospital gave me call to apologize and tried to make it right by covering the cost of my dogs dental cleanings, which was appreciated.

This vet is amazing! Dr.'s and vet techs especially are genuinely nice, helpful and really care about the furbabies they get to take care of. They are very fair on price too and aren't sketchy about their pricing like some of the other vets out there. I used to work in the kennel field so I was able to be behind the scenes with my last vet and after changing careers I was always worried about finding a good vet that takes their time, is detailed and gives you all the info. Especially changing vets when you have senior pets is worrisome too, but the Dr.'s here go over all of their history you provide so they are familiar with the furbabies and can get to know them better. I'm very greatful to have found imperial point animal hospital and am looking forward to future visits with them. If you are thinking about a new vet this is definitely the one to try!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding care my dog received from Dr. Gary edelson. From the moment we stepped into the clinic, it was evident that we were in the hands of a true professional who genuinely loves animals. Gary went above and beyond to ensure my pup felt comfortable and at ease throughout the entire visit. The warm and friendly demeanor of all of the staff handling Molly instantly put both me and my dog at ease. They took the time to listen to all of my concerns and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. The level of expertise displayed by gary and his team is unmatched. They conducted a thorough examination and explained every step of the process, keeping me informed and involved in my dog's care. The attention to detail and meticulousness left me with complete confidence in their abilities. But it wasn't just the medical expertise that impressed me; it was the genuine care and compassion that Dr. Edelson demonstrated towards my dog. The kindness helped my dog feel safe and loved, making the whole experience less stressful for both of us.. it's evident that he does truly care about the health and happiness of his patients beyond the clinic walls. I highly recommend Dr. edelson to anyone seeking a veterinarian who combines exceptional medical expertise with genuine compassion. My dog and I are incredibly fortunate to have found such a caring and dedicated professional. Thank you Gary for your outstanding service and for being a true advocate for animals!

Dr. Edelson and his crew are absolutely amazing! I called on a Monday due to finding blood in the kitty litter from my cat Aprie. They took me right away to examine her. Daniel, Dr. Edelson, front desk staff, Dr. Gordon, Rodrigo are all amazing. They all took the time to explain each procedure and exam to me along with medications. They called daily to check on Aprie to see how she was doing. Top notch which is rare these days. Thank you!

This is not a bad clinic. Dr. Edelson is a good vet. It's not about that. We brought our Chihuahua and kitty there. Chihuhua is under medical management for Cushings. They treated her well and really helped her when she had spine issues. My issue is more the communication or lack thereof with Dr. Edelson. Probably 90% of the interactions we had were with the vet tech. The last time we were told she needed bloodwork repeated, a conversation which led me to ask about her heart murmur. We were told it was now a grade 4/6 and that it had changed last fall. We were never told this. In checking with her neurologist (for her spine), we found that the murmur was only a 3/6 and hadn't changed at all. I found getting the information from the vet tech didn't leave me feeling confident. Also, when we had our 3 year old cat there last winter for shots, the assistant went down a list of shots to ask us what we wanted (felt like I was ordering at Chic-Fil-A) with no explanation as to why we should or shouldn't do certain things. One thing they were very good at was sending me reminders to bring a healthy, young cat in for a six month check-up. We declined that but I still get reminders. They were also quite expensive. We just switched both pets to West Delray Vet. The experience there is quite different. And the blood work at West Delray Vet was $200 less than Imperial charges. I have insurance but this is still a money grab. I feel like at Imperial perhaps the vet is spread too thin and relies on vet techs for most interactions. The front desk has also been inconsistent at times with instructions. Plus they aren't open on Thursdays. West Delray has 6 vets, is open 6 days a week, less expensive and the doctor is the one that calls you. Imperial isn't a bad vet, just not the best for our particular needs.

My five month puppy was happy with his first visit, which makes me happy. Dr Gary Edelson and staff were very approachable and very informative. Overall, enjoyed the visit and the convenience of online booking, testing and acquiring medications as needed.

Dr Gordon was so professional, so thorough, and very patient with all my questions!! Jazz was a very sick doggie; two days later she was her happy self again thanks to the care and medicines she was given. Dr Edelson answered questions on the phone and Dr Gordon called to see how she was feeling!! What more could anybody ask??!!
