I have been donating, shopping and volunteering (Woman's Build) since 2009. Yesterday my store had a 50% off day. There was a consule I wanted but I had to get a tape measure at home. Today I returned and asked the so-called Manager, CRYSTAL" if I could have the price from yesterday. She was so rude to me. She told me to go read the sign up front as today is 40% off. "I'm not going to lose my job over 10%" and then in a taunting replay "Have a nice Thanksgiving" and I said you too! I was not the only one she talked "down" to. Several other customers were berated by not only her tone but the rudeness in which she spoke to people. I shop at this store a lot and I asked how do you guys volunteer to work for her? They shook their heads. I think she should lose her job for 10%. She is not the type of person a volunteer/charity organzation should have speaking to the public and customers.

The seed for Habitat for Humanity was planted at a community farm outside of Americus, Georgia by farmer and biblical scholar Clarence Jordan. Jordan along with Habitat founders Millard and Linda Fuller developed the concept of partnership housing. Those in need of shelter would work side by side with volunteers to build affordable homes at no profit. House payments would be combined with no interest loans provided by supporters which would then be used to build more homes. In 1973, the Fullers took their house building concept to Zaire where they worked for three years. When they returned to the United States they founded Habitat for Humanity International in 1976. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn became involved and raised awareness. Habitat is now in all 50 states in the U.S. and in more than 70 countries. They have helped 29 million to be able to afford safe shelter. In 1991 Habitat for Humanity launched the concept of the ReStore in Winnipeg, Canada. In 1992 the first Habitat for Humanity restore opened in the U.S. in Austin Texas. The ReStores accept donations from the community and home improvement stores and then resells the items to the public at a discounted price. The profit from the ReStore supports the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. This ReStore is located in Delray Beach along Federal Hwy. I was pleasantly surprised by the breadth of items they carry. There were some very nice and reasonably priced furniture pieces along with mattresses, home decor, books, small appliances, art, paint, ceiling fans, and even clothes. Basically anything you would find in a home is sold here. This was actually one of nicer ReStores I have been in. I love their mission and this store is definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Very rude And unprofessional manager. I bought 2 sets of China the cups were missing when I arrived home, I called and they told me to send the matching plates so they can locate the cups. I did and they never responded so I have plates and no matching cups! While in the store the manager told me I should help pack the items since they were short of staff.. unacceptable.

Donated a bunch of items at their location. GPS takes you to their main office. The correct address for donations is on 1600 Dixie Highway... about 3 miles north of them. The people from the office were very nice and accommodated my few items inside for me.
