Great experience, very knowledgeable and polite staff. Don, the Pharmacist helped me transfer my prescriptions to Ira's. I will recommend Ira's to all my friends.

For me. Corporate Pharmacy's doesn't care about the folks they serve. Give me a local Pharmacy with real human beings who answer the phones. They don't put you on hold for a half an hour.I receive calls when my prescription is ready as opposed to an automated service that asks you questions about something that has nothing to do with why you called.Stand in line for your prescription while you're not being told how to take them or go to Ira's.

My husband and I with help from our radiologist office located a RX ingredient that the well known pharmacies were had the drug on back order. We drive 40 minutes to this place only to have them say it is not covered my our medicare. My husband has cancer and we have far passed the out of pocket expenses and we knew well it was 100% covered. They insisted no. Then the gal asks for the VIN number for my policy. I tell her there is no vin # in insurance. VIN #'s are for cars. I told her all the numbers that she needs are on his cards AND listed on the RX which was sent to them by the radiologist. Needless to say we were forced to pay cash and told to speak with the owner who of course was not there. As we are driving home we notice that it is a marked ml bottle which shows slightly over 400ml when the RX called for 500 ml which we were charged for. Also they put on the bottle that there is no refills when the RX clearly showed Two Refills! I come home and call medicare and they say for me to file a complaint as my husband is fully covered for this medicine. I then call Ira's pharmacy and ask for COCO who I am told is the owner. Of course I am told that Coco is not in and to call tomorrow. I will do that. In the meanwhile I will hold off til I speak with the owner before I file a livid complaint with medicare and elsewhere. I am hoping that Coco will see that there was a massive screwup from the ppl working there and will refund our money and put it thru the insurance as it is in their contract with medicare to do so. I wish I had read the reviews on this site prior to giving them our business and driving 40 mins to get his RX filled. I question whether the RX is even right as the amount given was less than the amount ordered and charged for. This has been a horrible experience but I hope Coco will do the right thing here. Afterall the employees said it is Coco who is saying that it is over the counter meds when clearly the RX called for high level of prescription strength lidocaine! I will post back and let you all know how this worked out. Hope springs eternal that Coco didn't mean to screw us and that it was simply a serious mistake on their part.

I was in town visiting family when I inadvertently‘washed’ my medication, ugh ?… I went to local Urgent Care to see a physician to get a replacement supply till I returned home where the balance of my medicine was left. Ira’s Discount Pharmacy was the very FIRST pharmacy I went to on the advice of a family friend, who has long supported Ira’s. The older male pharmacist was most kind & helpful, filling the prescription w/in minutes. I paid cash so I’m uncertain about insurance acceptance, of course I had no problems whatsoever. I’ve since returned to Florida(family emergency), contacted Ira’s, spoke to pharmacist Sue, ensuring they can fill my non-opiod medications, as an unavoidable family emergency precipitated a rapid departure from home.

I've been dealing with IRA's for several years now. My mother no longer drives and they offer free delivery service to her home which is a major convenience. Recently, I had a situation with one of her medications and Myles went above and beyond to make sure she was able to continue taking it as prescribed by her doctor. In addition the entire family was able to make arrangements to have vaccinations done at the same time. I highly recommend IRA's for all your medical needs.

I am so Lucky to have such a great local Pharmacy ! They treat me like family. Finding a pharmacy that actually cares about the patient is hard to come by these days. When it comes to the big name Pharmacies Walgreen, CVS Walmart Target etc etc you are just a number. I was Diagnosed with MS over 20 years ago and for a very long time getting my medication was a full time job. I am so thankful i found Iras Discount Pharmacy. Every month my medication is waiting for me ontime and Myles goes out of his way to always check on me and make sure im feeling ok. Local Pharmacy in delray that turly cares and not just a number !!!wish i can give them 10 StarsAlan Feller

I have saved 200$ by talking to miles. He gave me the pharmacy price vs insurance price. Big pharmaceutical companies would never do that. Shop small! They will always have your back!

I’m a local resident for over 40 years and I have been using Ira’s Pharmacy since the day that they opened. My husband and mother both have multiple sclerosis and we all use Ira’s as our pharmacy. They always explained all the medications to us and even got the medications that were hard to find for M.S. my father and I use the pharmacy as well. All the pharmacists are extremely pleasant but Miles is outstanding!!! He makes us feel that he is our personal pharmacist!! He really feels like he is part of our family. He so attentive to our needs and always answers our phone calls and questions. I would never go anywhere else or trust anyone else with our medical needs. This is the highest recommendation that I could give to Miles and the pharmacy!!! OUTSTANDING!!!!!

Very poor customer service, I was in the other day and the man running tge counter and the "head" pharmacist gave the worst customer service. I have been going to this pharmacy for years but never again. I hope they learn how to deal with long term customers.

LIARS AND THIEVES. Went to pick up a prescription electronically transferred from my doctor's office next door to this pharmacy. Pharmacy is listed as a provider with my Medicare insurance. Older woman acting as pharmacist checked that my prescription arrived, said she was busy come back before 6. I waited and when I returned she says to me, you have Medicare? We don't take that! After telling me to wait and waste my time hours before. Since I was already there as was the prescription order, I said fine I'll just pay cash. Checked online for average cash cost, $12-$40. Waited for her to fill it. They tried to charge me $150!!!! Like I said liars and thieves. The customer before me had to use two credit cards to pay his bill in excess of $250. Within an hour I had my prescription sent elsewhere, where I always pay $17. There's a pharmacy on every corner, why use one that sells pool tables and furniture along with the medication? DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I will report them to Medicare. Why did I use them? I saw the pharmacy from my parking space at the doctor's office and I am not from Delray. It won't happen again.Thank you for your response to my review, owner. I will gladly correct this opinion if it was in fact an honest mistake. I will have my doctor send my prescriptions to your pharmacy this month, July on the 14th. It should not be a problem to use my Medicare if what you say in your email is true.

Discount is a bit of an ironic word for their name. This place marked up its COVID tests during the Omnicron surge in a huge way, charging nearly double chain stores.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great personalized old fashioned service that is hard to find anymore. Clean and bright store. One visit made a repeat customer of me.
