I was in the difficult and nerve-racking position of finding a new CPA after our CPA of many years retired. All the questions. Would someone competent be able to take on a new client? Would they get our taxes done on time? And of course, how much would we owe?When I met Lauren Bellomo, I was immediately impressed by her positivity, confidence (NOT arrogance), professionalism, intelligence, and ability to speak tax in English. Despite my overall cynical feelings towards working with those I don’t have experience with, I felt at ease. My unease was all for not, she actually exceeded our expectations!The only stress I felt was the short time in which Lauren prepared the return and wondering how much we would owe. We got a refund! What an incredibly pleasant BONUS to the experience of working with a vibrant, pleasant, and responsive professional!!! She set expectations, and exceeded them all. As if all of this wasn’t enough, her fee was reasonable!Extra bonus, her gorgeous, sweet dog Charlie is her faithful assistant and was a wonderful support dog to this nervous new client.

We met with this firm, agreed on services they felt comfortable doing, set a calendar and scope, gave them access to our QB account. Called in Feb 2023 to close the books and was told they were "swamped" and to find someone else.I'm a CPA and pretty sure that's not exemplary professional treatment.

This was our first year using Branstetter accounting services. I am very pleased with the results. Lauren Bellomo was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and had our return completed in a timely manner. We will be using her for all our tax and business needs in the future. I highly recommend her company.

The owner, Tammy Schmidt, told my mother that she would easily serve as her executor/personal representative. COMPLETE LIE. Despite charging the estate for her own time, she also hired and charged for a lawyer, Gloria North. Ineptitude all around. Improperly filed court documents, incorrect initial estate accounting, continual delays, and virtually zero communication with the only two heirs (along with a not-so-nice reminder that any time we communicated with her, it would cost the estate more). Zero stars for knowledge, professionalism, customer service, timeliness, and every other quality one would expect.

My R.E. property had sold in Florida and certain tax issues arose; at the same time I was experiencing certain health issues. Everything seemed overwhelming. My lawyer recommended Tammy Schmidt at Branstetter Tax & Accounting in Delray Beach. She carried the ball from beginning to end, using her own initiative to solve any problems along the way.
