I have rented from Avis for over 18 years all over and by far this one is my favorite. What makes the difference for me is the people that work here. Well managed. I will be doing all my rentals here.

Do not expect your car to be available if you reserve online. You must call the store in advance to make sure that they actually have a car available. This may or may not be a problem with this particular location, it may be a bust in the online reservation system. Save yourself some aggravation and call ahead.

horrible customer service if anyone is even at the location. 2 times i have gone and they are out getting vehicles but never came back

Long time avis customer here... Buyer beware, this branch tried to rip me off. Said I returned a vehicle 2 days after I actually did, and said I returned it at a different location. Avis fixed it but this branch is sketch. Get a receipt.

I must share my wonderful experience with with this location. Trish is so amazing!!! Her professionalism and customer service alone says it all!! But to add frosting on the cake, she really took the time to go above and beyond to find a rental that suited my family needs during a very trying time! Thank you so much for being a Super star! I would recommend any who needs help with a rental vehicle to look no futher, here is where you want to be. They really treat you like family! Keep up the outstanding service! Best experiIence ever in car rental!!!

So thankful for the kindness and efficiency of the representative at this location. After a truly horrific experience at the Boynton Beach location, it was really appreciated. Do yourself a favor if you have a pick up planned at the Boynton store, even if it’s out of your way, it is 100% worth going a few more miles to Delray.

I'm not sure if this is a corporate issue or a store issue but the rental minivans were either overbooked or on a first come first serve basis. I came in to pickup 12/23/22 and was told there are no more minivans. I am also a corporate member who had a reservation since 11/19/22. I would think that I would be precedent over any other reservations made after me. I was offered a downgrade but denied. I'm in need of space, I am riding with 6 other well fed individuals plus luggage. I asked about anything coming in later that day being that I was willing to wait a day, the rep told me about 2 vans, 2 separate times and offered to call me but failed to let me know that they are closed the next day...Saturday. Also no return call. Just filled me up with hopes and dreams. I now need to scramble to get a vehicle for my trip to Alabama. My first time with Avis not a great start????????♂️

A new location but great service. Tricia helped us get into the right car after having issues with the first car we were assigned. She understood our requirements and made adjustments to the contract and get us the right vehicle.

After reading a lot of bad reviews for other area car rental shops (....including stories about people getting to the rental shop only to find there is no car reserved for them...) I took a cab all the way to this Delray Beach location, even though it's farther away from where I live. Very glad I did. The location is brand new, so the rental shop itself and the cars are exceptionally clean and new. There was no line and service was friendly and fast. Because the location is new, the only hitch was that the gps/location is off. If you pass the KFC on the right (on S. Military Trail), you've gone to far. You need to take the right just before the KFC, into the shopping center....The Avis office is straight ahead, but all the way towards the end of that left-side shopping area. In fact it's the very last entrance on the left-hand side. It's not big and there is no sign yet, just a small Avis banner above the door. I'm sure this will change, but if it's July/August 2022 and you're reading this, just fyi!!
