I have used Ted and sons multiple times over the past 5 years. They have always managed to save me money compared to dealership or other repair shops. They have frequently found fewer repairs necessary than other repair shops in town and I always drive away with a working car. They have kept my car going past 130k miles and I plan to head over today to get help on a new issue.Services: General repairs & maintenance

My car battery died without any warning and I was stuck on the side of the road. I got a jump and was told to go to Ted and Sons because they're honest dependable and would be able to help me out. I did just that. They saw me immediately got a battery from the parts store and installed it all in less than 30 minutes. Excellent service very friendly great price I was very happy. Highly recommend.

Our car needed the ball joints on our 2002 lincoln towncar fixed bc it was screeching unacceptable loud...totally Embarrassing. Before we could get it to a shop the whole axillary broke( lu kill backing out our driveway and not the freeway. So we had it towed to Ted N Sons. They had noproblem accepting the job. And to my amazement they got it done in just a few hours instead of days) And I was expecting it to cost me a pretty penny, but to my surprise it was way cheaper than I was expecting AWESOME!!! THEY DID A GREAT JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER and very personable ,friendly. This is now my goto for any auto issues.

My power steering pump failed on my Astro. I bought a replacement pump and then found that non-professional shouldn't attempt the job. After finding that shops don't let you supply parts, after I explained the situation Ted and Sons took the job, did it for a fair price, on time and now I'm driving again.

The most honest auto repair I've ever encountered. Truly good people who know what they are doing.I don't live anywhere near Florida, but felt the need to leave this review. Here is the why:Returning from vacation we became stranded in DeLand while caravaning with our friends. By happenstance, we broke down just down the street from Ted & Sons. We are not familar with the area and had no idea where to go. After a random call to Ted & Sons, Ted helped us find a tow company and was able to move some work around to take a look at the car. Every member of the staff was welcoming and kind to total strangers from out of State. They quickly identified the issue and started the repairs knowing we had no place to go. They didn't give us a list of everything else that needed to be done and try to sell us on unnecessary repairs; just what was wrong and what was actually needed. Unfortunately the repair required ordering a part that wouldnt arrive until the next day. They gave us some recommendations of nearby hotels and promised to help provide transportation the next morning. When the part arrived the next day, they immediately finished the repair and then provided the transportation to the shop. The car has run great and finished the 800 mile trek back home without a problem.The kindness these people showed to us is hard to express in a review. It was not just a random act, this is how they are. You could tell from every customer that came to pick up their car while we were waiting. They treat people with kindness, respect, and honesty. I am truly greatful for what they did to help stranded travelers.
