Recently moved to Orange City from Jacksonville (Xfinity) market. In 5 months, I’ve had at least a dozen instances of no internet. If it rains, the wind blows or whatever the reason. Spectrum is HORRIBLE for reliability. Yet they raised my “starter” price within 3 months. While providing substandard services.
Don’t be disappointed, because now you know how awful their service is.

The SLOWEST customer service I’ve ever experienced. Waited over an hour along with 6 other parties. They got through 1 customer that whole time. When I was finally called I was told I couldn't return the wifi gear because I’m not authorized on the account (it’s my dads). Meanwhile the service was already canceled and on the phone I was told I could return the gear to the store. There’s no reason why it should be so difficult to return something that I would be charged for if I don’t. Absolute waste of time.

Terrible and rude.
I brought my spectrum equipment to the SPECTRUM STORE after canceling my account and was told they do not accept the equipment. I said that doesn't make sense, This is a spectrum store to which another employee said,"well you didn't pick up the equipment here did you?"
So glad I am no longer with spectrum

Gabriel came out and helped fix a broken connection left by the previous homeowner. He went above and beyond and got me up to the speeds I was quoted. Corporation issues aside, they have some good employees.

I stopped in Spectrum to change my plan. For numerous years I didn't go over my data plan. That changed a while ago. I spoke with Ryan, he told me my options, it was very reasonable, it was immediately switched in the system, and I was able to be on my way with unlimited data. It literally took a few minutes to get this taken care of. Thanks so much Ryan. You Rock!

My visit to the Orange City, FL Spectrum on 8/17/24 was the result of my conversation with corporate. I no longer needed a wi-fi router and was told by corporate to bring the equipment to the nearest Spectrum, ie Orange City. This was my first time there, so it came as a surprise that I had to wait to return equipment. I signed in and waited 45 minutes. When I got to Felix, he told me the equipment is returned to UPS. In the 45 minutes I waited, I could have gone to UPS and continued with my day. Even though the miscommunication between corporate and the local Spectrum is apparently lacking, the bright spot was how Felix handled every thing. Instead of sending me across the street to UPS, he handled the return at the Spectrum store. He was well within policy not to deal with returning the equipment. However, he took the time to take care of me. He also went above and beyond by helping me with my internet service speed. No matter what line of business, customer service is failing. I hope Spectrum takes care of employees like Felix. He was a stellar example of great customer service. I hope he’s there if I need to go the the Spectrum store in the future. Thanks Felix!
