“Opened a checking and savings account with this credit union about 2 years ago. i have had $1 in savings the entire time and between $1-$6 in checking for about 23 months of the time. i have never been charged a single cent for overdrafts, service fees or anything else! Good luck getting this sort of treatment from the standard bank. Through the years, i've had accounts with Wells Fargo, TD Bank, Bank of America and others and was charged monumental fees, forced to keep a minimal balance when i could ill afford to, and have had to deal with exclusively automated systems when calling the aforementioned banks. A couple of months after opening the accounts with Launch, i needed to stop payment on something. i called them and actually spoke with a genuine person (!!!) who was helpful, understandable (not having shipped the responsibility overseas as many companies do) and who remedied the situation immediately and courteously. Not only all of the above, but everyone working at this credit union is sweet as pie, they often give my children stickers and candy (after politely asking if it's okay), their hours of operation are above average and all around the customer service is well above what most of us have come to expect from companies, let alone companies who claim to be responsible with Americans' money. i'm sure i need not remind the reader of the fraud Bank of America pled guilty to, and the all around crooked behavior of banks in the past. Launch Credit Union has not been involved in any scandalous nor fraudulent shenanigans, yet remain fully insured should an old school robbery occur. Highly recommend them for anyone, and especially to those of us who no longer wish to enable already greedy banks who function as a parasitic presence on the backs of humanity. An additional nod to the assistant branch manager of Launch, Lori, she truly does go above and beyond to be helpful and kind. In summary, i have zero complaints with Launch and plenty with all the others. :)”

“If you have ever been frustrated with your banking, I highly suggest moving over to Florida credit Union in DeLand. I am a small business owner and really needed multiple checking accounts that I could drain to zero. I also needed a personal bank account, And a new credit card for personal reasons. I am also part of a nonprofit who wanted to use FCU.Every step of the way, FCU Has been there for me. Any trouble I run into they fix immediately. I have so much flexibility to do what I need to do. So much feedback from them right when I need it. Brian and the rest of the team makes the experience enjoyable rather than frustrating.I doubt I will ever use another bank for my personal needs or my business needs. “I've always had a positive experience at this branch! The employees really care on a personal level even if they're busy. I switched from Wells Fargo because I had way too many fees there for a debit account and they didn't seem to care about me. I also get my direct deposit early (like most banks now) which is great, but unlike most banks, it isn't "pending" in your account. You can actually use the funds when they appear in your account. It's always clean inside. I only had to wait one time to get help - when the mobile app was down. The mobile app being down was awful but it wasn't the branch's fault - it was released and overloaded too soon. The DeLand branch was working overtime to handle every issue, complaint, and upset client. They were fixing problems that they didn't create and got all the backlash for it. I rarely go inside, but I had to during that time because I lost my card. They quickly took care of my issue, printed a new one immediately, apologized for the inconveniences due to the app being down, and I was out the door quickly. Now they recognize me if I come in. Sometimes the ATM doesn't like to accept my checks the first time I put it in and their drive-up teller technology is outdated but they do the best they can with the tools they're given. I hope they get the recognition they deserve for consistently going above and beyond for their clients. I also really like how they can print a card AT the branch. I got my debit card the same day I opened my account which is so convenient and for some reason rare to have now. Wells Fargo no longer has a machine to print cards at their locations. My brother also recently switched from Wells Fargo to Vystar because I told him about their benefits and they were so sweet to complement me as a client to him. And I originally switched because my parents are business owners and told me how well the branches performed during the pandemic, despite the challenges PPP loans created. If you're looking to switch to the Chick-fil-A of banks, this is the one for you!”

“Far superior to Truist. We have an account there for work and soooo wish I'd moved our other accounts to PNC after SunTrust threw its customers to disgusting Truist. Will though move all accounts as we're departing Deland next month.”

“So I went Friday to an account here at td bank in Deland Florida location, I was helped bye Cathy. Mind u I came after work 5pm she was so friendly still took me and gave me the best service ever made me feel welcomed to the branch she set me up with everything plus I got to walk out with my bank card wow I was amazed but the hospitality . “Fifth Third Bank used its discretion to close my account in 2018 because I made repeated cash withdrawals after my boss deposited money into my account via wire transfer. These services should not be offered if they are grounds for having your account terminated.I initially left a one-star review because of the things I stated in the previous paragraph. I just revised it because this branch isn’t to blame.One time I made a withdrawal from the drive through here and accidentally left with the plastic container thingy that gets sent through the evacuated tubes. I called the branch half an hour later and let them know what happened. I told them I would return later that day with it. They called me 90 or so minutes later, inquiring about my status. I told them I was on the way right that minute and wasn’t far. Aside from having an employee breathe down my neck that one time, I never had any problems here. I used the lobby and drive through numerous times without issue.”

“This is Carmen and she worked so hard on trying to get the paperwork straightend out for my Mom and a qit account, but do to another Wells Fargo in South Florida Miguel wrote down the wrong EIN number and messed up on his end she couldn't complete it today. This is my 3rd time going to Well Fargo dont get me wrong there awesome at some branches and truly cate about clients. This branch is in Deland by Walmart and the Branch Manager is on point and handles his bank with Pride. Sure wish they all would! Anyways thank you for trying to fix it.Kim”
