My female shepherd was with Peter and Libor for about 8 weeks for behavior modification training. She is very skiddish and this comes out as aggression towards people she does not know. Peter and Libor were wonderful! They took their time with and her and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Peter drove her to our house (1.5 hours away) and taught us how to reintroduce her to our home and all the continued training for us to do with her. She is greatly improved! She no longer lunges and growls at people as they walk by and we are able to redirect her now. I would highly recommend K-9 specialists!

Thank you Libor and team so much for such an amazing animal. Gmork is not only handsome but extremely intelligent! He is energetic as to be expected but in my opinion calmer than previous Shepards we have owned making him a perfect family and protection dog as he adapts quickly to any situation. He has become our best friend and a wonderful protector even at his young age. We are so thankful to have him in our lives and will never go to another breeder/ trainer again!

This was my first experience with a professional training. Libor and Peter are very charismatic people kind and inviting and very knowledgeable. You can tellright away that they're very passionate and love what they do. They recently trained my puppy Luna she was in their 5 week puppy program and she has made tremendous strides towards bieng a well mannered dog. This is my firstpuppy as well as my first experience with the German Shepherd breed and Liborand Peter made the process very easy. Luna built a strong bond with Peter and you can tell she really loved working with him. I highly recommend them for all your canine training needs. I look forward to working with Libor and Peter in the future for the next stage in Lunas training.

If we could give libor , Peter and staff 10 stars we would ! We just picked our shepherd up from the five week training puppy course, and could not be more pleased! These guys are the outmost professional,knowledgeable, and caring trainers!They made sure before dropping him off at the puppy course we knew what to expect and thoroughly went over everything with us making sure we were comfortable. During the 5 weeks they maintained constant contact with us sending us progress videos , updates and text.They took amazing care of him like he was one of their own and we could see how much he had come to adore his trainer , Peter .After a couple weeks in they had us come to do some on-site training with him and visit . We were blown away by the progress he had already made . Upon pick up we had a training session offsite and the difference in our dogs etiquette, recall and behavior was unbelievable!We cannot think K9 Specialist enough, and if you are looking for professionals, who will care for your dog like their own while being able to consistently execute real training for your dog then look no further ! We are so impressed and pleased we have signed him up for a second phase of training ! They are worth the investment and every penny !

Short version: you need look no further than K-9 Specialists for any level of canine support - whether working with your existing canine partner or partnership with their world class family friendly protection dogs.Longer version: I have taken a number of weeks to post this review, waiting to settle in and transition to the new normal. The discovery that K-9 Specialists was local to me was the best bonus. An email to Libor led to a phone call while he was on the road with a delivery which led to meetings at their fabulous facility in Ocala. I met the GSD of my dreams, as I had kidded Libor that Iras was their best spokesman, in my opinion. And from the moment we met in person, Iras and I had the potential for the best of partnerships. Not only did I find my most incredible GSD partner but the family (K-9 Specialists) that accompanies him. I am a woman of age, with grandchildren, horses, and other dogs - an elderly and neurologically afflicted Border Collie (spayed) and a small Dachshund cross (in tact). The three immediately bonded. It has been a seamless transition with what I would consider challenging situations to any canine nature - made possible with the incomparable breeding and training of the canines represented by Libor and company. Next to the dog itself, the availability,support, and training follow up after the fact by Libor and Petr have proven their genuine care and commitment to their canines and their clients.

I highly recommend K9 specialists, my boyfriend and I have a GSP and its behaviour has drastically changed! We chose the 14 week program and couldn’t be happier, specially to Justin (our trainer) he has helped us and guided Felipe (our dog) to its maximum!

We have spent our first week with our new puppy "Minka." She is alert, inquisitive, smart and very playful. She is confident around our three year old shepherd and she loves to play all day, but loves training time too and is very responsive to training with her treats. At nine weeks she is sitting and coming to her name. Libor & Petr have given Minka such a great start in life with their skills as breeders & trainers, and their beautiful training farm with toys and obstacles to play on. We highly recommend K-9 Specialists if you are looking a for great addition to your family.I included a photo from 8 weeks and one from 9 weeks, and will update as she gets older.Thank you!

Working together with K-9 Specialists has been a wonderful experience. Libor and Petr were very responsive to all our questions and helpful in allowing us to consider all the options available for us to find the right dog at the right time for our family. We got plenty of great advice and photos/videos before pickup and since pickup, our Evie is doing great. Considering her age (4+ months), she’s incredibly well-behaved. She shows us great focus and drive and has also been respectful of our older dog. We are working with a trainer, who has also commented on how attentive and quick she is at picking up new skills. She’s growing into our family and we’re looking forward to many adventures. You won’t be disappointed should you chose to work with Libor and K-9 Specialists.Brandon & Stephanie

I was looking for my next GSD service dog to work with and have fun as my current GSD Jessie who I wanted to retire in the next year. With the many breeders and trainers out there i found K-9 Specialist whom after researching them and talking to Zavalsky felt they were the right choice for family and I. I told Zavalsky what I needed and was looking for after a little bit I decided on Yena. Picking up Yena was a great experience. Rachael Zavalsky and there children worked hard to get Yena ready and it shows .Yena is great around kids and has not a worry in the world. The most impressive thing is the chickens were left out and how fun to chases chickens. my daughter let Yena out to go potty she went potty then off to chase but my daughter recalled Yena and she came without a second thought. Yena has very high pray drive to over come. Being obedient to a command from a young adult is a testament to her DNA and the training time that went into her. I would highly recommend K-9 Specialist if your looking for a well balanced and loving puppy or dog GSD for your family or service dog. The experience felt like family I truly appreciate Libor Zavalsky, Rachael Zavalsky, Petr Solc Jr., and all who work so hard with Yena.

I have to admit, at first I was a little hesitant about getting training for my Catahoula Dog. Now, I have to say that this was the best decision. My Trainer Justin is the BEST. So my partner and I were in search for a GSD puppy for our home to be trained as a family protection and companion dog. After I found K-9 Specialist online and had one conversation with Libor I knew that this was exactly what we were looking for! It was a new experience getting a puppy from a far distance and having to fly to get her but let me tell you I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Libor and Petr truly have a passion the dogs and a passion for the breed. We picked up Sasha in early February of 2022 she is 10 weeks old now and one of the most intelligent puppies I have ever worked with. She is already able to perform a list of commands such as sit, down, place, shake, stay, rollover, and next is speak. If you dive deep into learning about GSD you will find that the intellectual characteristics are passed down genetically. Libor’s GSD are some of the smartest around I can positively say from being at the location and spending some time with Petr! I’m also always available to speak about my experience through email or a phone call!Thank you Libor!I will edit this soon with updates!Updated! 4/26/22 Sasha is growing great! The vet is amazed at her bone structure and health. She is also EXTREMELY intelligent. I have worked with Shepherd for a long time and she by far is the most adaptable and intelligent dog I have ever had.

We had a wonderful experience with K-9 specialists. We asked for a family friendly dog and that is exactly what we got. We visited Libor in Ocala and came home with Ogi. We have had her for one month. Ogi is a sweet friendly playful 13 month old German Sheppard. She had basic obedience training. We look forward to many years with her.
