Harper Hill always provides a high level of customer service that we would all expect however, never receive from other places. Accurate answers, prompt phone calls with excellent communication. Thanks again for all you do!

According to well-established definitions of an AGENT:
noun: 1-a person who acts on behalf of another person or group.
2-a person or thing that takes an active role or produces a specified effect.
Your excuse that "I can't do anything" runs contrary to your claiming to be: "Allstate Insurance Agent Harper Hill, DeLand, FL."
My personal experiences are that you are NOT "in good hands" with this agency. Over the years, I have asked--multiple times-- for assistance with different technical issues that have arisen, and your response has been to deflect my inquiries directly to Allstate, which is almost always unsuccessful. My conversations and personal interactions with Allstate agents have led me to believe that the representatives I have spoke to are not only inexperienced, but misguided in their response(s). I can create both a time line and a list of names to underscore that.
Now that we come to that point in time when insurance companies are evacuating the State of Florida en masse, Et tu Allstate? If my "agent's" suggestion to me, the homeowner (who has made timely payments despite a precipitous rise in premiums) of a well-maintained home in a non-coastal, non-flood zone is to seek insurance elsewhere, can you still justify your being an agent? I am familiar with the term "bait and switch."
Allstate customers beware: they are coming after YOU. In my case, their continually evolving excuses for a lack of coverage was: something that no longer exists; an event that occurred a year-and-a-half ago; and next, a code that was enacted a quarter-century ago. That code, in brief reads: "For a building
permit for which an application is submitted prior to the effective date of the Florida Building Code, the state minimum building code in effect in the permitting jurisdiction on the date of the application governs the permitted work for the life of the permit and any extension granted to the permit." That date would have been three decades earlier. Besides, Allstate inspected the house before issuing my policy.
In summary, stop making excuses for Allstate's wholesale abandonment of an entire state because of the company's incompetence. Homes built near water (rivers, lakes, intra-and intercoastal shorelines, and in well-documented flood zones) are bankrupting, not only the insurance companies, but millions of citizens of the entire country. And with the eroding of their business--good word here--the only agents left will be hedge-fund investors. Read up on Monarch, if you will.
