Went to this store and it has a sign that says closed between noon and 6 pm everyday till further notice. So you open for 4 hours in the morning n 4 hours in the evening. What kind of business is this to be shut down between these hours. Don't blame it on no employees. I see lots of ppl looking for jobs here n a few say this dollar general isn't hiring. Is it a management problem

Clerk doesn’t know how to apply deals. 6 12 pack coke should be 30 + tax which should not be 38 dollars. 8 dollar tax on 30 dollars don’t seem right .

New manager at this location and the store is already looking better.Isles were clear of freight and most departments were full and the seasonal valentines looked really nice.

It has always been a pleasure to shop this store. Great staff & good customer service. Always greeted by employees when you come in. They are always available to help customers anytime & I have noticed the teamwork to help each other as well. I believe the store on 44 & hill, could really use a lesson from this staff.

The store is good. One of the employees on the other hand is quite rude. This is the second time I went in to use my coupons. I forgot to enter my number since they got a new system you put number in first. Well this same lady gets rude with me and says I cant enter it it won't let me. Well I'm sorry then I'm not buying anything if I cant enter my number. Another employee showed her how she could go back so I could enter it to get my discounts. This lady is just rude and wrong, sorry I took your time away by wanting to save money. She didnt even say thank you or anything when she handed my receipt. I still did. How rude. I didnt catch her name but I will next time. I'll be letting them know when I do my next survey.

Upon entering this store,an employee was sitting in the floor directly in front of the main entrance door, wearing cut off denim shorts,tshirt, (no name tag),so I don't have a clue what her name was), looked directly at me, (none of them wear masks), and not a word spoken,no greeting,NOTHING, had I not needed a specific item, I would have turned around and walked back out. Everytime I go to this store,I swear to myself I will NEVER shop there again. But I had heard here in our community that the company had invested in a remodel, so I thought I would give them one more chance. It's a shame the company has chosen to remodel a store in the area, but completely shoots themselves in the foot with staffing it with nothing short of subpar, unprofessional rude, lackadaisical ill prepared employees!!! I placed an item on the counter, got a sarcastic reply from the old female employee inundated with tattoos, she acted,and presented herself like she hated her job, and customers were a distraction and annoyance to her, once again, this is the second time I've been serviced by this rude employee!! Several times I've walked thru the door ,seen her at the register and left and bought my items elsewhere. She doesn't greet any of her customers, ABSOLUTELY NO EYE CONTACT, no greeting,too busy talking to the other employee next to her to speak or acknowledge her customer, continued to talk ignoring me the entire time she rang up my items. Slung everything in two bags in a rushed manner, handed me my receipt WHILE TALKING & LOOKING AT OTHER EMPLOYEE about non work related subject. NO "THANK YOU,HAVE A NICE DAY" Nothing. That's the most unprofessional cashier I've ever dealt with. As a manager myself in the retail industry, if that cashier worked for me in my store, I'd fire her! No, she never would have made it past the interview,I wouldn't have hired her! As beautiful as the store remodel is, it's a shame the ugly acting cashier sours your experience of being in such a pretty store. DG, doesn't do you any good to spend money on remodels and then staff them with garbage staff!! Yeah, I won't be back. I'm done with DG! I'll drive on down the road,spend my money somewhere else. Do yourself a favor,go somewhere else for your shopping needs!!
