So every item that is on the shelf is basically wrong and the manager refuses to correct the situation. Not to mention they are very rude and unprofessional!

Steer completely clear of this location! The older lady with long blond/gray hair is THE MOST unpleasant person I've come across in a long time! Seemingly NONE of the employees know how to do a refund. I was asked to come back the next day when I got double charged for an item, and I've personally witnessed them refusing refunds to other customers THREE TIMES in the past 5 months. The last straw with this store was the other day when a new very young employee got pissed at the Unpleasant Lady because the UL got snippy and sarcastic with her, so the young one literally smashed my bread into a bag with other items until I yelled "DUDE" and snatched the bag away from her to do it myself. This doesn't even take into account the fact that they go days without restocking common food items. I'm done and I'm making a formal complaint to HQ.

The cashier was horribly rude. As I was shopping, she was trying to unload things on the shelves and kept groaning and grunting, and making irritating noises because I was irritatingly in her way I suppose. Then, on my way to the checkout, there was a lady already in line squeezing the pig at the register that is like a bell to bring the cashier over. Cashier yells from across the room I’ll be there in a minute. The lady must not have heard her so she squeeze the pig again, and the cashier says I told you I would be there in a minute. When she finally arrived at the cash register, she told the lady I answered you the first time why did you squeeze the pig again and the poor little lady said oh I’m sorry I couldn’t hear you. It looked like the little old lady was going to cry. I come home I’m telling my husband about this and he says it’s probably the same lady. I talked to yesterday when I asked if cokes were on sale. She says rudely to him, I don’t know why don’t you read the flyer? I left the store, grumbling under my breath. This woman seems to hate her job.

Dollar General seems to have no qualms about selling us milk that tastes slightly off or gift cards that have already been scratched. Yet, if you or I dare to give our feet a moment to breathe or desire to sample a product before purchasing, we are threatened and forced to leave as if we were common thieves. They practically wielded the broom and ushered us away, akin to shooing away a pigeon in a Chinese restaurant or a stray cat in a country store. But this situation is different. This is not like the Buttercream Gang. Our tears of laughter, once shared around the Zenith, have transformed into tears of blood. The Ponyboy I know had to do more than bleach his hair and save a burning orphanage, all for a lot less than taking someone's life on a whim.They may be out of diapers, formula, and teriyaki beef jerky, but fear not, they have an abundant supply of Hot Cheetos and Mountain Dew.

This stores staff needs retraining on professionalism. Openly arguing in front of customers and muttering about each other amongst the aisles isnt the vibe ANYONE is looking for while running errands. Date is May 24, 2023 @1:20 p.m.

I don't frequent this store, but I do go occasionally because it's close to where I live. I went to purchase a drink and the card machine was broken I don't carry money on me so I couldn't make my purchase. I went back to this same store three days later and the credit card machine was still broken. I had to leave because I couldn't make any purchases!!!! This is pathetic. I'm assuming this store is making money or they would close it. Corporate management needs to do better with this store. Maybe it's because it's in a poor neighborhood I don't know but I'm to the point I don't even want to waste my time going there. This is the worse dollar general store in the DeLand area, I'll just have to go a little out of my way to another store. ??

Run by pill heads and junkies. No one is ever there. No one opens the store on time or closes at the scheduled hours. They close 2 hours early sometimes. Rude employees, rude customers. This is by far one of the worst locations in deland Florida. It's pretty ridiculous to go to a store 45 min after they're supposed to be open... and no one is there? Wow!

BUYER BEWARE! Prices on shelf are always not the same as the what the register is charging YOU! This would typically not be an issue provided the Manager and Store Employees honor the shelf price. Not this store; they think the customer should just "Deal with it!" No, you as the store manager should deal with doing your job... it's never the customers problem. Store is always in shambles and the employment is as rude as the manager. Feels like the customers are not welcome in this store; it's almost a bother to them you are there. And don't bother reporting anything to corporate DG as chances of them contacting you back with regards...... is just not on the agenda.

Mostly out of stock of items maintenance issues and also rude staffs.. One of there employees had once told me that i couldn't shop there no more due to an issue i was wrongfully accused of. Which is histeric cause she rung me up a few days before i shopped there..smh ridiculous ??
