I did not know the pharmacist could practice medicine like a physician. Gabby refused to fill my prescription after waiting 2 weeks because it was from "out of the area." She then clarified they only fill prescriptions written in DeLand. The next excuse not to fill the new script was "pharmacist discretion." They would not transfer the script. Sounds like drug diversion to me!!!??

Some Rx are not stocked & take a while, in today's world where just about every Rx comes from China, India, or only god knows where that's to be expected, however, most of the time they stock what you need. I have talked to the pharmacist and found that they were not only knowledgeable but out of their way helpful.

Amy white went above and beyond for a unique situation that I was in and she solved my problem. It’s people like her that give the company a good name. CVS is lucky to have her as an employee and I’m grateful that we met

Had a prescription called in from Dr . Office to CVS pharmacy 901 n woodland Blvd . Was told to call back in two days as they did not have medication. So I did as instructed , when I picked up my medication , was told to call back in a couple more days due to no medication. So again I did as instructed and when I called was told it would be two hours and I would receive text , and if no text to call . So again called to hear that not only wasn't it ready , but they didn't have medicine in stock and wouldn't have it for another 5 days , and was instructed to call again and hope they had it , so sad for a company that large to treat customers in that manner .

OMG second time in a row they said it would be hours before my medicine would be ready. After having 13 teeth pulled. And in the instructor I have no choice because CVS can't do it in a reasonable amount of time.

I visited this pharmacy for a pneumococcal vaccine at 4:30PM and my pharmacy technician was told by the pharmacist we are all done giving vaccines today come back tomorrow. I asked about getting an HIV test and was told to use the kiosk at the minute clinic. The kiosk didn't have the option to select and I was hesitant about putting all my information in making the appointment and waiting to find out if they could do this test or not. There was no one to ask for help. I left thinking how bad this place was and how I would not return.

Horrid experience. Made an appt on the site for my COVID and flu shot first this am so I could get in today. I needed to get in today due to my work schedule. Picked my time and put in my insurance information and they accepted my appointment. Left work a little early so I could get there. Once there I am told that they don't accept my insurance. I am not annoyed at that. That is just the insurance game and I understand that not everyone takes my insurance. That being said, why did it ask me for my insurance when making the appt and not tell me then? Why let me make my appt only to get there and THEN tell me? I said that to the girl in the pharmacy and she had no empathy for such a stupid process that would obviously cause issues with customers. There was no, I am sorry. Just looked through me when I was visually annoyed. She needs some customer support and empathy training. If the site had been set up to tell customers that insurance isn't taken when the insurance information is asked for when making the appointment, I could have made my appt at Walgreens instead for this afternoon. But now I had to make my appt for Walgreens and miss more time off work tomorrow. By the reviews on Google, it seems this store may need new management. Waste of time.

Severely understaffed. Customer service is non-existent. Pharmacy is a joke! They call the patient to ask medical questions such as dosage clarification. I told them they need to call the doctor for clarification! I am NOT the right person to be answering medical questions. Several issues in the past where they think they know more than the doctor prescribing the medication and they'll hold filling the prescription. How about y'all just DO YOUR JOB and stop inconveniencing your customers! If my insurance allowed me to go elsewhere I would but alas I am stuck!

This Pharmacy is garbage!! Do not fill scripts here, do yourselves a favor and drive to the other side of Woodland. Every single human in that Pharmacy is miserable. For months we have "dealt" with attitudes, lack of attention, simply neglecting scripts and zero communication. The pharmacist should be ashamed of the team that's there. Run to the other CVS so you do not have to deal with these incompetent folks!

Kinda strange there are no human cashiers here. I had to navigate buying a gift card through a self-serve checkout terminal. The store isn’t dirty, but it doesn’t feel clean either. Something feels off about the interior. There’s plenty of parking here. The gift card selection isn’t great if that’s what you’re looking for by any chance. Like many places, this CVS has taken full advantage of recent “inflation” to raise its prices as much as it possibly can.

I had an appointment this morning (Sun) for 9:10 am at the CVS Minute Clinic on North Woodland in Deland, Florida. I was feeling pressure in my right ear. My sinuses have been acting up, to include ear pressure. I was greeted by Nurse Practitioner Meredith Ashley. She was very pleasant and professional. She let me know if the 9:00 am appointment didn't show up, she'd bring me back for my appointment. As it turns out, they didn't show up, so she called me back. She did a thorough exam and review of the medications I'm currently taking. Also, those medications I take "as needed". She also did a complete examination, to include checking my ears. My blood pressure was high; however, I did let her know it drops considerably when I get home. Being fairly new to Deland, (7 months) I let her know that my previous doctor was adding on an additional medication to address the high blood pressure. As it turns out, I did have sinusitis. She explained I did not need an antibiotic at this time and there were no signs of ear infection. Mrs. Ashley let me know to work on getting the blood pressure down, and that the current sinus and ear pressure should go away on its own. Quite frankly, she was more thorough than most doctors! I was pleased with the appointment.

Very busy location, however, should not be an excuse for poor service. The turnover is insane at this store, never see the same clerk OR pharmacist twice. I heard them making fun of drive-through customer in front of customers at the counter. They're unhappy and they treat you like they're doing you a favor. I'm in the annoying process of switching pharmacies.
