Excellent choice on my part. There is nothing I would change about my stay in Deland, Florida. The Deland Courtyard by Marriott was recommended by a local and I expect to do repeat business with the Deland Courtyard.

Great hotel with comfortable beds. Location is right on the edge of the main downtown area of deland. Easy walk to all the restaurants bars and local sites.

You can walk to a lot of local stores and restaurants. The hotel is clean and friendly staff!
Walkability: You can walk the very cute town
Food and drinks: There are so many good restaurants. Odom Thai and Sushi was so good! Also, El taco Rico Mexican was also very good.

Parking is extra!!! Over $11/day to park. Hidden fee was not disclosed anywhere when I booked. Price was clear, and I was billed something else. Stayed 5 days for business, so I had a company budget to make....missed it because of parking.....thanks a lot! I'll never stay here again because of this.
Other than that the room and hotel were nice. Don't be shady people.....
Walkability: Can see the whole town in a short walk.

Rooms: The rooms are nice. Other than finding someone elses underwear in the room when we first arrived. But front desk offered to move us to another room. Our fridge did not work properly and the tv had pixels going out. Other than that. The room was very roomy and loved the walk in shower.
Nearby activities: Right in downtown area. We walked everywhere and felt safe doing so.
Walkability: Was able to walk to Stetson and the shops and restaurants downtown. Very good location

As platnium marriott member I have been marriotts worldwide and must say this place is lacking .Impossible to get breakfast or coffee.No hot water

Perfectly located at the beginning of the shopping district. Walk one way into the cute local town or walk the opposite direction for more chain restaurants and a few local gems as well. Perfectly located!
Rooms: Clean and sufficient.
Walkability: Just a few short blocks from all of downtown Deland.

Excellent location. Our family has stayed here a few times and have found the hotel and service to be exactly what we would expect from a Marriott property. Toni is the epitome of quality customer service with her kind, caring, professional and personable manner. Highly recommend.

First time staying in Deland. This hotel is perfectly located downtown in the historic district. There are tons of great restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself has food like all other courtyards. I didn’t get pictures of it but it has a very nice outdoor area with a pool. My room was very clean and smelled good. The staff were pleasant and gave me great recommendations on food.

Walkability: Located right down town. Sidewalks with streetlights
Food and drinks: Tons of restaurants within 2-10 minute walk

It's probably the best hotel in town, and nearby area. If you stay here, try to get a room with a high number. The low number rooms face the street, and the traffic noise is quite loud.
