Such a great place! Not many small town vets like this anymore! Treat furry friends with such compassion and caring.... Owners and employees too!

I recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a good vet for their pet. They always helped me out with all my past pets. They were very helpful when my old mastiff was having health issues. Thanks for all you do, and I will continue to bring my pets to you, and recommend you to everyone.

The worst clinic. We asked for a service and they don’t want to do it because they said we are not costumers. We said that we will become costumers and just said no.
Really bad.

Thank you to doctor Brewer, for your generosity in helping us with our dog. We loved countryside before, but you definitely proved that you are one of the best veterinarians around. We have some human medical issues, and they stepped up and helped to make sure our dog was taken care of as well. Words cannot express our gratitude.

Our old pup Mac was messing with his ears and his skin very irritated and itchy. Countryside Deland got him in quickly and we saw Dr. Garcia. She is amazing (everyone there is). The tech was also great with Mac (I wish I remembered his name). They took great care and we got him on some meds for his ears and skin. Part of it is this time of year, but so happy they got him in and treated right away. He’s already showing signs of improvement! I will only take Mac here! I highly recommend Countryside Animal Clinic Deland!

First visit for my pup. ALL were wonderful and considerate. Even other
Fur friend owners there with their dogs were considerate of the new puppy.
Buster was at ease and did well for his first appointment.

I have been a loyal customer for many, many years bringing several different dogs here. I have seen the decline of this place over the years and the revolving door with the employees; but, I stuck it out because I know nothing is perfect and afraid of change. But, after a charge of over $200 for 6 nights of boarding a 13lb dog who comes back 12lbs, I have already switched as he’s no longer getting the care he deserves. They have dramatically increased their prices which I have never complained about; but, now a 3% credit card fee on top of this? Plenty of other businesses don’t charge a credit card fee.
I dropped my dog off for boarding on Saturday, he was apparently treated for diarrhea on Monday and then someone called on Wednesday to tell me and left a message. I wasn’t available and that’s why I had an emergency contact who wasn’t called. They treated him 3 days after I dropped him off and charged me for medicine and said I brought him in with diarrhea? He probably picked up something there. They also have repeatedly not trimmed his nails while boarding and probably not bathing him either. I have had to bring him back before to have his nails trimmed which they were very unhappy about and one time I complained they trimmed his nails and charged me, so I have mostly not said anything. Because of this, over the last few years, his nails have gotten too long and the quick has grown too much. I board him 6 - 8 times a year. This time boarding none of his nails were trimmed so I asked them to trim them and the office manager, who was standoffish and uncaring, flat out refused and said the notes stated they were trimmed as best as they could so it must’ve been done. I have never even seen this person before, but she wouldn’t even look at his nails or let me see a veterinarian or vet tech.
Also, he’s always thin, hungry, and extremely thirsty when I pick him up. I think they give him very little water and food so when they leave him in his cage he doesn’t pee and poop in it. I called later in the day and spoke to the owner, who has retired several times but keeps coming back because he can’t keep help; but, that got me nowhere either, he seemed very confused and out of touch. He wouldn’t do anything; he didn’t even want to look at my dog’s nails and trim them. So, I'm done with this place.

The office staff is totally disorganized; it's always a circus every time you go in there. Also, Countryside is extremely expensive and I feel they're mostly concerned about money instead of the pet. However, I do like their vets and I feel my pets are safe when I board them there.
