Cliff's Books is a DeLand institution, and a throwback to the great bookstores of the previous century. You may have to sidestep in a few aisles, but he has tall shelves with paperbacks of science fiction, mystery, horror, romance and men's adventure. In the other side of the store, thousands of comic books, toys and children's books. There are corners of this store I have never examined, since I rarely make it past the vintage paperbacks. Whenever I'm in DeLand, I always insist on visiting Cliff's Books.

Over 15 years ago I got my first TTRPG book here. It was a 2e L5R. All the years since this was the place I would go to until I moved out of FL. Lots of cool stuff here and you never know what you're going to find month to month but it will be awesome

Great bookshop. Lots of variety and everything is very well organized considering how much there is to see! Pricing is okay. Some high, some low, but if you're looking for rare books or treasures it's what you'd expect to pay for the rarity. If you are in a budget though, when we visited, they had a table outside with cheaper books and images so don’tbe discouraged by potential cost. You never know what you might find, but it's definitely worth stopping by.

This store is nothing shy of fantastic. The amount of nostalgia I got walking through the place was awesome.This store is absolutely chock full of early sci-fi comic book memorabilia, films, posters, and everything A to Z that involves film.They have many figures here ranging from Disney things, to marvel things, to early sci-fi movie related things such as the creature of the Black lagoon, and much more.I seen a couple reviews here disappointed that they didn't have any newer style things, but honestly if you're going into the store expecting a super modern vibe this is not the store you're looking for.The owner seemed like a fantastic person, very outgoing and definitely cares about his business.I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in downtown DeLand and love reading, or old sci-fi memorabilia.

It’s a fine store but not what the general populace is looking for. This store might do better if they can sell things to a younger audience, such as selling manga. Manga is incredibly popular amongst younger people and that is what I was looking for in this trip.

I grew up in DeLand and Cliff's is phenomenal for numerous reasons. A few are, selection, pricing, and friendly service. Cliff's is a kind of destination one is relieved and thankful for while near, and somewhat lost and pining when too far removed. Go treasure hunting at Cliff's as soon as you are able, but be warned friend and pilgrim. You will find yourself cursed from that moment until your demise with the knowledge that there are few other nooks in this world so magical as Cliff's.

A wonderful book store with many pop/comic collectibles... amazing selection of both fiction and Nonfiction the staff is great Cliff is the best...I've been a shopper since 1999!

This bookstore is so cute! Unfortunately, it was closed when we got there, but we peaked inside and saw a big selection of books. We can't wait to come back and check it out.

I just found Cliff's a week ago. I can't believe it has been hiding from me. Now, this will be a once-a-week visit. I love the knowledge of those who work here. I can't get enough of the atmosphere. So many treasures are here that you will always find something.
