They saved my day! Visiting from out of state and got my grandparents van stuck in sand on the side of the road. Called them and they were there within 25 minutes and pulled me our. Price was way cheaper than I expected!

I have used Captain Hook towing twice in the past week after getting stuck on the side of I-4, and I truly cannot recommend their services enough. Everyone I have spoken with was incredibly pleasant and friendly and communication is always on point. AND incredibly reasonable tow prices, both times I was quoted I was shocked that i’d ONLY be paying the amount I was. After giving Captain Hook a call I had a tow in 20 minutes and it was completely hassle free. Good and honest business. Next time I need a tow, Captain Hook is the first call I’ll make.

We got a Jeep stuck pretty bad off the road on a dirt trail. Unfortunately, it was bottomed out. We didn’t know what to do, so we started looking up towing services nearby. We chose Captain Hook because of the name initially, but we are SO glad we did. The truck came out in a timely manner. The people that were in the truck to give us the tow were the kindest, most understanding people that we could have asked for. Not only that, but the price was EXTREMELY fair and reasonable, especially considering the situation we were in. Now, if I ever need a tow in the Deland or Daytona area, I am only using Captain Hook, as it could not of been a better experience.Service: Car towing

My wife's car was towed at 3am, on the first of the month, while the office manager of the complex was on vacation. Patrolling a private resident while everybody is asleep to "catch" them while they can't defend themselves is pretty shady. My wife's vehicle was FINE, and registration up to date. Why did they tow her? Because she forgot to put the sticker on the plate, but it was sitting ON THE SEAT inside the car. Only a garbage person would name their company Captain Hook. All you need to know is in the name.We were told "Well if you picked up sooner then it would be cheaper". Excuse me? It was towed at 3 IN THE MORNING. Who in God's name would expect to wake up and find that their car has been towed? God forbid said person wasn't lucky enough to find someone else do drive them to your ramshackle facility.Judging from a different negative review the owner is also very defensive and insecure in their response. See below."After reviewing this atrocious review, I the owner looked at our dash camera footage in our trucks and no such thing happened that you are stating. You have mistaken us with another towing company. We have EXCELLENT customer base, and our reputation holds higher than the average company. If you may, please remove this review. I will file a complaint with google to make sure this horrendous review will be removed. Thank You"You're gonna file a complaint on a negative review when that's literally the point of reviews, and the right of users on Google? Being so positive about your flawless company makes it appear you're full of yourself.Hook is a crook. Sincerely, from the bottom of our hearts, screw you. Hope you enjoyed the $180, scumbag.Response 2: Well how would you find me in your records when I didn't give you any info? And no, it was your company. Throw the law at people all you want but if you had an ounce of humanity, you would have let her off your 'hook' once she took the valid tag out of the car and showed it. Her tag wasn't expired, she just didn't have the sticker on it.

We had a battery issue in our late model Toyota CHR after hours in downtown Deland and had called AAA and our insurance carrier Traveler's insurance each of which stated they would get in touch with us once their 3rd party vendors responded and each had estimated a 2 plus hour wait. Alex and his spouse or significant other happened by and stopped. We had given what cash we had to homeless people that stopped by and stated they were hungry. I offered for Alex to follow me to an ATM and he declined payment for a jump start. I also offered to buy them breakfast, which he also declined. I'm sure he is like most of us that are battling the high cost of living, however they chose to help someone in need. We will pay it forward and call him for any future towing needs we may require and highly recommend these very thoughtful and compassionate people who helped a couple of senor citizens in need.

Very unprofessional! Gives you the running around and do not know how to count day’s correctly. Gave every excuse in the book not to show proof of correct dates and time stamps. I want to say thank you so much x1,000 to the man who saw my dad in need and helped him on Friday the 4th. He is elderly and waited 5 hours for another service who left him high and dry. I don’t know what he would have done if it weren’t for the man who stopped to make sure he was okay.
