This store is adorable! Highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking for cute clothing or home decor. It was super easy to shop and style pieces together with the way everything was laid out. Debbie was so friendly and helpful. The clothing materials were all so soft and comfortable. Gotta love cute AND comfy. Will definitely be back in to shop again. Thank you Baker & Co !

Nice store. Friendly staff. I was gifted an item that I wanted to exchange - not return. Unfortunately, I was unable to do this. We all know that when an item is exchanged, usually the merchant makes money. Either the credit isn't used completely or the customer goes over the credit. I won't go back.
"Bash a small business"? I began my review saying the store was nice and the staff friendly. Yes, my experience was unfortunate (as are others, I see), but I did not "bash" your store. And my review was based on my experience in your store, not the fact that I received a gift I didn't care for.

This shop is super cute, and the owner was very friendly in the store but not so much out of the store. I bought a pair of leather pants when I got home, I noticed a snag in the pants. Being that they were pretty pricey I was hoping to send the pants back in exchange for another pair or receive a refund/credit. When I called the employee who answered the phone said that I would be able to get a gift card for the price of the pants. I told her I was willing to do this but would like to speak to the owner first (who is only in store on Mondays) to see if there were any other options, since I would not be in town again. She did not give me any information on the exchange nor was I informed of the 7 day return policy over the phone or in store. Even when I called a week later, she said that it was still fine to send them back and I could receive a gift card. She then called back saying that it was too late and now I'm expected to keep defected pants. Never was I put in contact with the owner but instead had to go back and forth from the owner to one of her employees to me.

As many reviewers have noted, this is a beautiful and great little shop but buyer beware. The merchandise is not as high quality as it appears and they stand behind none of it. I purchased a beautiful marble pastry board/cutting board. After less than 30 days of it sitting beautifully on my countertop, I wiped it off and dried it and then it simply fell apart by splitting right down the middle. Clearly it is a manufacturing defect as it was not dropped -- just wiped with soap and water. I contacted the store for a remedy and I was told that they do not guarantee pieces such as marble and there is no way to know what may have caused the damage.It is pretty evident from the pictures that the piece was not properly put together by the clean split right at the epoxy holding it together. I will shop at stores that stand behind their products especially when still within a normal return period and that have better quality for the price paid.Follow up: For the record and as stated, it was less than 30 days and I credited you with stating your position, in fact quoting you exactly. It's a shame you are not believing my account of the problem basically insinuating I'm not telling the truth. You say you stand behind your products--Apparently you just don't stand behind this product. Other buyers beware: all sales are apparently final.

Absolutely love this boutique! We just moved to DeLand & stumbled upon it while walking around downtown! I’ve now been in 3 times and have bought all the things! The lady even remembered me by the shoes I was wearing (because I told her it was obsessed with these shoes when I bought 2 other pairs the one day). Amazing customer service. Will now be my go to boutique!

Wow, what an adorable shop right in the heart of downtown DeLand! They have everything from home decor and kitchen essentials to women's apparel and accessories -- I'm in love! We stumbled upon this home mercantile shop on a Saturday while exploring the area, and I'm so glad we did. They have a shabby chic/vintage vibe with some really unique pieces that have a more modern feel. They have some large furniture pieces, rugs & textiles, and curated antiques throughout the store. We got a few home accents/knick knacky things to decorate our home office and bookshelf. They also have some great faux plants/greens that are perfect if you're a plant killer like me. I was really crushing on all their kitchen tools -- brass honey dippers, cute measuring cups, cutting & charcuterie boards, stoneware, hand carved wood bowls, marble pinch pots for herbs & seasonings... the list goes on. I'm not much of a cook but this shop made me wish I was, haha. I also ended up getting a comfy dress and some earrings (they have a great gold jewelry selection), and I've already worn it twice (instant closet staple). I just discovered that they also have an online store, so now I can shop there anytime since I'm not in that area too often (YAY!). I believe the owner herself, Bobbie, helped me that day and she was so lovely! If you're in the DeLand area, be sure to check this shop out.

What a delight to stumble upon this gorgeous shop during an unexpected stop in Deland. The city's charming "Main St" is a fitting home. Baker & Co. is a well curated collection of home goods, decor and vintage items. The couple that worked with me - assume that they are the owners/Bakers? - were down to earth and friendly. Look forward to heading back again to discover some new treasures

Absolutely love Baker and Co! Make sure you stop in the next time you visit DeLand. Bobbie has such an eye for finding beautiful vintage pieces for your home! She does a fabulous job of combining new and old. Her pieces are so unique, and nothing that you can find in any Home Goods or Target. In addition to home décor, they also have beautiful unique clothing, jewelry, and more. HIGHLY recommend Baker and Co.!
