08/01/22 - UNRESPONSIVE - Len installed a Custom Closet in our Front Bedroom and a Custom Shelving & Bench in our entryway. He has been UNRESPONSIVE to us in completing this project. I communicated with Len via email with photos and phone regarding (1) the hallway adjustable shelf back panel not being secure and moving when I tried to adjusted the shelf. (2) We are still missing additional shelving which was included in my design which I gave him a copy of and had emailed him. I had already purchased the baskets to go on the shelves. (3) He still hasn't completed the underside of the entry bench which is included in the design I originally sent him and the sketch drawing he did when we signed the contract. (4) The front bedroom closet has no "skin covering" the top shelf so items can fall through the cracks in-between the wood panels. There are two wooden blocks that are holding the panels in place which will tear clothing items placed on the shelf and look horrible. I assumed that this was a temporary fix and he would replace the wooden blocks with brackets. (5) I accidentally overpaid him $61.00 which he has acknowledged and REFUSES to return our money to us. WE have not had any design changes since we began this project. LEN chose to alter the project midstream (without informing us BEFOREHAND) because he didn't want to purchase any additional wood to complete the original design. FYI - the closet panels look pretty. The drawers do NOT have soft-close hinges (which you would expect in a custom closet - he doesn't like to install them and won't "guarantee" them so he doesn't offer it). The drawers do NOT have dovetail joints. The closet panels are a "tight fit" and not really "secured" into the back wall. I am really disheartened that we are being treated this way and he has "ghosted" us. How can you "guarantee your work if you don't complete the project? I know that he began working out of his backyard a few months ago. Is he still in business?

My wife has a closet in the office at home that is like a sitcom- years of things being accumulated and thrown in and danger beware to anyone opening it. As a Mother's Day present ( in addition to See's Candies and some flowers) I decided to get her a custom closet as she had mentioned wanting one. I contacted Len Morreale of A Perfect Closet & Cabinet and asked him to build me custom shelving to maximize that space. He gave me a very reasonable price, showed up when he said he would and worked quickly. He was professional and courteous throughout, and most importantly the final product far exceeded my expectations. I will use Len again for other projects I have and would highly recommend him for anyone that needs this sort of work done. Worth every penny.Services: Closet design

As an at home, small business owner, with an online store, I must keep my inventory organized.When my previous system literally fell to the ground, I called A Perfect Closet and Cabinet. When I explained what happened, Len came out on a Sunday morning; the very next day after I contacted him. He wrote up an estimate and explained his billing procedure and project timeline expectation. I have a full time job too, so he worked around that schedule and finished ahead of time. He mapped out and suggested a plan for new shelving as well in my photo studio area which will also save time! I plan to do this as well.I recommend Len and A Perfect Closet and Cabinet.

Len with A Perfect Closet and Cabinets came to our home and made several suggestions as to the cabinets we wanted made. After we agreed on what we wanted, he promptly made and installed our new kitchen cabinets. We love them! Not only did he do everything we expected, but he knocked it out of the park. The cabinets exceeded our expectations, the color came out beautiful. He went out of his way not to disrupt our home any more than he had to during the install which was a big plus for us. He did such a nice job, we're already considering having him do our master bedroom closet.

I hired Len to replace my kitchen cabinets. He is VERY professional. He kept me up to date through out the process. My new cabinets are beautiful and I couldn't ask for anything better.

After reading wonderful reviews we hired Perfect Closet and met Len. After speaking with him we expected nothing but excellence. It took a few weeks to get our doors ready and that was expected. i must say Len was extremely prompt and courteous each time he was here. The actual door craftsmanship was excellent. The installation was another story. For as skilled as he claimed to be the installation of the veneer finishes is certainly not what I was expecting. And surely not good after the job clean-up either. Len had to return one time to replace a "bubbled" veneer piece and rather than replace the whole piece he just splice a new piece. Later we realized that 3 of the drawers and two of the door handles were drilled crooked and installed poorly. Again Len was called and he returned to repair and had to make two new doors which took another two weeks or so. When he came to install the corrected items we had him replace the spliced veneer with the correct part. When he was finished mounting the doors he still did not drill and install the new knobs and handles where upon I asked why he told me he was not drilling and mounting them and that I should do it. Why I asked , he said what if I screw it up again. Well isn't that why I hired a "professional" wood worker? Needless to say I did it and was not happy at all. We paid over $7000 for this job expecting super quality workmanship. Not excuses and DYI . Again the doors were made beautifully but the quality ends there.

I had Len make and install an art cabinet for my art room. The cabinet he made was perfect and to my specifications. I asked hime to create a look of bleached driftwood to match my house decor and he did so to perfection. Not an easy thing to do. He came in for the install on schedule, again to perfection. A day after the cabinet ( very large) started to lean and Len came that day to inspect. The problem was an uneven floor. At no expense and on his weekend off he stayed and secured the cabinet to the wall. So reliable and honest is he. About two months later he came back because we needed more shelves inside the cabinet. Again, on his day off. He saved us money because instead of making three more shelves he just lifted the two shelves above utilizing the bottom of the cabinet as another shelf. Something we didn't see. Very honest man. My husband and I highly regard Len's work and honesty. We just contracted him to further make a work station for the art room.

If I could give a minus I would.I am embarrassed to post pictures of my Kichen.After he takes your money he will not come back to correct the problems.Good luck to all that be ripped off by him.

Len is a skilled craftsman who is honest, professional and will go the extra mile to satisfy his clients. He came over on his day off at short notice to correct a small problem created by the people who laid the floor foundation. I highly recommend Len and Perfect Closet & Cabinet.

I note most of the reviews here are pretty old so I thought I would add a more recent one. I wish I could give a good review to Len and his company but I just can't. Len is a likable enough guy but my kitchen cabinet refacing is not what I ordered and his response was pretty much..."too bad". I chose a color from a sample Len brought to my home but when the cabinet door and drawer faces were installed the color was way lighter than what I had ordered. To make matters worse, some portions of some of the panels were exactly the color I wanted but the rest were not and they were married together so you can really see the color difference. His response to my concerns were that I didn't order a penetrating stain. I didn't order ANY stain.....I ordered a product based upon a sample I was shown and the product doesn't match the sample.

We hired Perfect Closet & Cabinets to do 2 projects. Our closets, which blow us away. Len did the design and I was not sure if it was all going to work, but after it was installed i was shocked. It is so much better then what I expected. After the closets, we were looking for a new kitchen. He convinced my husband and I to reface instead. Not only did he save us thousands of dollars, but the finished product looks just like new cabinets. The best part is he was able to make extra pull out drawers in my old cabinets for me that I love. These guys are the best. My sister has already hired them to do her kitchen, and my brother-in-law wants to do his closet for Christmas. Thank you so much.
