This is by far the dirtiest unsanitary place I've ever been to. Do not shop here. Some of the meat had black looking blood in it. Made me sick and we left.

Stopped in for some snacks.Overall poor experience. Establishment severly outdated, poor selection, prices notably higher than major competitors, and very poor customer service.Butter was for sale for 7.55, mentioned it to the stocker and was ignored. Finally caught his glazed attention and he appeared to be completely inattentive, also casually dressed.Bread was unmarked, and when prompted the cashier informed me that the one on the bottom was the cheapest."That's not what I was asking, how much is this one?"Mentioned the price of butter "it's like that everywhere".Competitors prices are about half that, but I'm not getting paid a commission from Wal-Mart.Overall would not recommend. Good selection of cookies, and cereal was at least a dollar discounted, but 5 months past it's expiration date, so perfect for expensive roach food.Beef was also 27% fat, so trade your money for abdomenal fat today at your local thrift way.

All in all, just a great local market and perhaps one of the last around. It may not be as bright and shiny as the new chain store down the street but it makes up for that with old-school originality. It looks just like the grocery stores your Mom used to shop at when you were a kid. Check it out for a trip down memory lane and fill up your refrigerator while you're at it.

This is a place that you can find old timey candy and things that are from years past that you can't find anywhere else. Great staff! Nice neighborhood store.
