I had a not good experience, besides the rooms being very dirty, I made a reservation for 2 rooms and there was only 1 available, the attendant said he would contact Priceline to cancel the other room, I contacted Priceline and They informed me that the hotel told them that I used the 2 reservations and that they were not going to give me a refund, I am trying to contact the hotel and no one is answering me. That's not fair, I don't recommend the hotel

We liked it because of the location. The check-in staff are a little strange. I didn't like the fact they tried to get a $20 cash deposit out of me when I had made a reservation.
Safety: Definitely a safe location with not a lot going on.

So the good. Its located in what I found easy driving distance to Destin , Santa Rosa Beach, and Defuniac Springs. Its set back from the road and really quiet. The guests were quiet families and adults. The room and beds were clean. The bed comfort was fine and I slept well. The service was fast and courteous.
To be fair as I get to the bad, I didn't contact them about the room problems. It was a last minute and super cheap weekend trip to the beach at the height of tourist season in Florida. I felt lucky to get a quiet clean room a half hour to 45 minutes depending on traffic from the places I wanted to go. I spent little time in the room and just dealt with it as I didn't want to deal with finding another hotel or room changes that I doubt could happen given the season. The room was cheap enough compared to other last minute options I chose to just be grateful for clean and quiet and conveniently located with no teen or college groups on a bender.
That said. The room looked good at first. Then when I went to straighten the toilet seat it just kept going and crashed to the floor. When I took a shower I realized the shower rod had been knocked down and cemented back in place but in a different place and the holes left in the wall. The roller chair for the workstation is wonky and busted— rolls well but there's no cushion left and it leans to the right no matter what which is weird and uncomfortable if you sit in it to use the desk. The wall has raw gouges one wall. The door sits cockeyed or something in the frame as there is a huge gap between door and frame. It doesn't close right I think. I think its a safety hazard and its definitely costing them extra money to heat and cool the place. The room needs some fixing. Its a two star hotel and you get what you pay for. All I expect from a room at this price and service level is clean and not broken. It met the first criteria and not the second.

After reading the comments I decided to post mine since none of the comments are newest. From the start of the reservation to check out a never had any problems everybody was nice and polite ( 2 days stay ). Room was 2 full bed size but can be mistaking by queen depends of whoever wants to criticize, non smokers and no pets that’s what I choose. Towels and sheets were clean. Room was super clean. Remember this is a hotel to spend a night if you want a 5 star hotel you should go to a 5 star hotel, not ask a 2 or 3 star hotel to accommodate you for a 5 star hotel. Awesome place to stay after a long day. This is my every year stop to destin beach for 2 days, then continue to Miami.

Had 4 rooms at this motel . Had to move one room because it was hot at had such a horrible smell. Two of the room wasn’t clean had dead bugs on the nightstand and behind the chairs . All the rooms headboards needed to be wiped down with wipes because of the dust. They had very limited towels . asked front desk for towels he was only able to give 1 big towel . Upon check out the worker was very unprofessional when taking out key cards .
Rooms: Need some better cleaning. They need to spray rooms are put in some plug in . upon cleaning they need to dust . and wipe down everything.

As far as noise I can say no complaints on that it was very quiet. However, NO HOT water!. Owners / manager said we had to run the water for 10 minutes or more to get it to get hot that did not work so we spent six nights there with no hot water. Due to the fact that it was paid for in full and we knew we would not get our money back so we had to just deal with it. Then today upon check out the owner was so rude to me talking nasty accusing me of being in a room with another man that I did not know when me and my friend were in a room upstairs. I just wanted to check out and he was completely rude and insulting. The room was cleaner when we left than when we checked in.

Stayed a few times.. I highly recommend this place over most in the area.. Mark (front desk mgr) will take good care of you and if you check in late.. Johnny is just as helpful.. Rooms are clean and you get your money's worth.. If you're looking for a pool you're not going to find it lol This place is mainly built for rest not vacation fun.. The Staff will accommodate your comfort to the best of their abilities.. Great value

Love this place… Pryia and Kenny are great also Lisa, Mark, and Johnny at the front are amazing!! The housekeepers are very hospitable and always willing to help with any needs. Great place to stay!!
Rooms: Clean rooms comfy beds
Noteworthy details: Pet friendly had zero issues with having my animals!! That makes it exceptional

Pets stayed free. Modest room with LV floors, microwave, fridge, and easy access from major roadways. No breakfast provided any longer.

I stay here with my mother every time I pass through town. Lisa, Mark, and Johnny are always on spot with their professionalism. Wanda is a housekeeper here and does an amazing job cleaning and making sure every room has amenities! Very sweet young lady. Kenny is always making sure laundry is done and that there's no debris in the parking lot. Priya is right behind him making sure the behind the scenes part of the job is done, too. Also, there's a beautiful sitting area in the back with a charcoal grill, flowers, and plants. Just gorgeous. Thank you to everyone here for taking pride in your work. This place will always be my home away from home!
