Another trip to Lowes, another frustrating disappointment.
It seems that what is eligible for a military discount gets fewer by the day.
Nobody at this Lowes really cares, not like they could do anything about it.
The list of reasons not to shop here keeps growing!

My husband is a contractor & in the middle of 2 major renovations, so we make weekly visits to Lowes. Today I made a $700 online order through my app. When I arrived, I was willing to shop around while I waited for the completion of the order. At customer service, I was told: “we can’t find it.” An employee that pulls orders was asked if he had record of the order. He looked but didn’t answer. A few seconds later the C.S. Agent said: “I just received a message, Order Cancelled for Corporate Review”.
At that time, I received a message “order cancelled”. (No reason).
Bank statement showed: purchase cleared then returned to account.
As a result, my sister in law & myself went through the store and collected everything on our order list ourselves. (ALL items in stock)
Once we checked out… we were the Only ones checking out and loading up in the contractors door. With a cart full of lumber, sheetrock, & insulation sheets and a shopping cart full of plumbing parts, etc. I had to step back in and ask the check out clerk for help to load. The sheetrock was too heavy. After hesitating, he turned and reluctantly asked if I needed help. A young man showed up outside, helped me load the sheet room then asked, “do you need help with anything else?” Really? Standing beside a cart full of items & you have to ask! I hesitated, & sarcastically pointed to the cart & said, “Nah, I can get it.” When I looked up, he was already gone. My sister in law and I (both 50+ yrs old) loaded our trailer by ourselves while 3 young men sat less than 5 feet from us, on the forklift, chatting it up, never offering or lifting a hand to help.
Despite the fact their mothers must be so proud, I hope Lowes does a better job at serving their customers! It was extremely disappointing!
