I see how many 1 star reviews are on the Deerfield Beach Walgreens on Powerline. The store could definitely benefit by hiring additional employees, as well as have their staff go through Customer Service training. That would be a big plus. I have had multiple problems getting my prescriptions filled and I have a chronic pain condition that requires me to take controlled substances. Many times when my RX was due, they would claim to have not gotten the medication in. When asked when they might get it, they say they have no idea....I could try calling in a week, knowing that when you're on a pain med that you will go through withdrawal without the meds. No one, including the pharmacy manager seemed to care. I will say that Miriam, one of the pharmacists there, has helped me tremendously. She went above and beyond to ensure I would have my meds When I had to leave town. I would give Miriam 5 stars for her help. This has been my pharmacy for over 25 years and only since Covid would I rate the pharmacy as a whole, a 2. And that is being generous!

I've met stupid people in my day, but this place is chock full of morons. My current pharmacy is out of the medication that my doctor prescribed, so I went to this Walgreens asking if they had the medication in stock. If so, my doctor would then call in the prescription. This moron behind the counter said that I'd have to have the prescription called in, then he could tell me if they had it in stock. I asked again, "all I want to know is if you have it, then my doctor would call it in." He said he couldn't tell me, only after the prescription was called in would he tell me whether or not they had it. I complained to the manager and this guy is as equally useless. What's happened to businesses today, do they have no idea how to deal with people? No soup for you. Next!

The worst Walgreens in South Florida. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I wonder if corporate knows how poorly run this store is. The staff certainly needs to know customers have choices when it comes to there pharmaceutical needs. They are not the only game in town.

The worst. Always understaffed. Always slow. They don't care about their customers. I would avoid this place if at all possible.

Provides a good opportunity to check out vintage cars that people died in waiting for their drive-thru prescriptions to be filled.

I was giving this Walgreens drive-tru a seconds chance after I waited over 1h in line to pick-up my prescription after work. Well again, this pharmacy just doesn't know how to manage influx of clients. Moving along to another drug store. Thanks but no thanks!

I came to this pharmacy to put money on my account and your workers, together with your supervisor Virgilio and the worker Yvonne, did not know how, do you want to say that this is a good service? ))))) you should be ashamed that your workers do not know such simple operations

the. worst. store. ever. the place could be described, with apologies to obi-wan, as a wretched hive of scum and villainy. the staff are rude. they are incompetent. dishonesty seems practically to be a corporate policy. they appear to delight in the avoidance of anything resembling customer service. and the managers are worse than the clerks. my advice: for prescriptions, march directly across the street to the publix pharmacy. for anything else, try cvs or amazon. you've been warned.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I have called MD Now twice and they sent over my prescriptions, twice. The pharmacists have not looked once for my prescription, but instead continue to ignore me and tell me they can't do anything. I'm sitting here with strep throat having the time of my f****** life.

This places is complete garbage honestly if I could give them negative stars I would. The pharmacy is basically like herding 3 legged cats. They have no idea what they're doing and you'll die trying to get your medication. If you can avoid this place run.... and run fast they suck! It's like they're not even legally cleared to dispense medicine. They're idiots and the store manager is useless as well. They do nothing to rectify problems. I recommend dying then attempting to get medication from here.

The store and location are fine. The pharmacy in Deerfield occasionally seems to run out of our prescription meds...Could not tell us when my wife's BP meds would be available....she was down to 2 pills...they advised that her Doc put her on another medication for Blood pressure.....Rather than change the medication , we changed the pharmacy...Publix pharmacy had the the blood pressure med....Will no longer use Walgreens pharmacy....Once burnt... twice learnt.

Only reason it's a three star is because the people in the pharmacy as pretty good. But, you have to go through the unfriendly staff in the store. To try and get someone to help you is a crapshoot. And, they always react as if you're bothering them. I understand it's a low paying job but interaction with customers is an important part of the experience.
