First off, wow!
I am a solo female traveller. Tropic Isle Beach Resort is hands down in the top 3 places I have stayed at. I had a 10 day stay. This beautiful boutique stay is just a 2 minute walk from the beach, and on the quiet end of Deerfield beach at that.
Check in and check out was seamless and hassle free. Couldn't ask for a better experience with the hands-off approach, but I was able to contact the manager at any time.
They provide beach towels and chairs for guest convenience, which is so helpful - you don't realize how nice a beach chair is to have on the beach until you try it!
I felt very safe at the property. I never felt "exposed" to the street. The property is gated and surrounded with hedges for privacy with cameras for safety. It feels so secluded and private. The staff are standout. They are accommodating and helpful. The housekeeping staff in particular are fantastic. The daily linen service is a plus, and its only when you need to use them.
The pool is clean and is well maintained. Dishes and other appliances are also well maintained.
I usually stay at hotels when I travel to south FL for safety, but I am so happy to have made the jump to try a more intimate and smaller property. I will definitely be staying Tropic Isle next time I am in Florida.

Excelente hotel with easy access to the beach, everything has been remodeled, the rooms look great, small kitchen with cooktop and everything you need. the Pool has great area and there's even a barbecue available to use. I really recommend it.
Rooms: Very nice rooms and the amazing kitchen with everything you need to cook your own food. All rooms is very clear and I really recommend this place. I love it.

I think we can all agree that customer service is everything and it says a lot about how a company responds to issues that have occurred. I urge you to review the screenshots that are attached as I do not wish anyone else to experience what I have experienced.
Unfortunately this was a very bad experience. First of all this is a motel that has been painted which we are uncomfortable with staying in a motel. When we booked the pictures were different than what the room actually was to our shock. The kitchen and bathrooms appear to be updated but they all are not. The shower is not great at all and was very dirty. We felt very uncomfortable so we asked for a refund to stay elsewhere. The property refused stating that it was an issue on our end. I completely understand if this was an issue on our end with booking but what really gets me is how this was handled by both the owner and manager. We were asked to send screen shots in which we did. We were told that the room we thought we were booking was an additional 200 something per night and if we wanted to switch we could pay that price. We were also sent screenshot from them that were blurry and I could not see them. We did not wish to do that and I informed them that I was unhappy with the customer service and would be writing a review and that also the photos they sent were blurry. I guess this outraged the manager because she called my husband and started screaming at him. He actually had to de-escalate the manager when it really should've been the other way around. We spent four hours going back and forth between tropic isle resort and expedia. After such a long issue thank goodness expedia refunded us in full. BUT the kicker is that this property has been harassing me since. They contacted me again 5 days later on expedia saying that the screenshot they sent me were not blurry. With it being 5 days later, I ignored it and blocked them on Expeida. Then today they texted me on my personal number reiterating that it was our issue and they did nothing wrong. I have not responded to them nor reached out to them since the day this all occurred. At this point I am feeling harassed.

I loved my 10 day stay here. I joined my husband on a business trip so I was alone most of the time. Great management, and beautiful grounds. The pool is beautiful and feels so tropical! We stayed in a comfortable studio with a usable kitchen for making meals. It was a very easy walk to the beautiful sunrises and all the restaurants to choose from. I felt very safe here and walking around. I am looking forward to my next staySafety: I would walk to the beach in the dark (before sunrise) and always felt very comfortable and safe.Walkability: beach is about a block awayFood & drinks: There were many restaurants within a mile or less.

This hotel is an excellent option to stay in the Deerfield Beach area both for location, amenities and in general practically everything.
Starting with the location, it is simply perfect, located just a block and a half (literally less than 3 minutes walking) you will reach the main beach of Deerfield, which consists of a long public sector that you can access without problem, with a beautiful coastal walk that you can walk with an extension of approximately 1 km.
It is also within walking distance (10 minutes) of several bars, restaurants and a small shopping center that you can visit during your stay in Deerfield Beach. Additionally, if you are worried about doing sports, the area is perfect for running or doing your favorite exercise. .
It is important to note that the hotel is located in a very safe area, do not worry about security in this area.
The hotel itself is very good in terms of amenities, it has a pool shared by guests, a grill where you can grill what you prefer if another member is not using it, as well as beach accessories (such as chairs) that you can use without problem to take to the beach.
The rooms are quite comfortable, they have a semi-equipped kitchen, it has a countertop (burners), dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and dining table, likewise the room has a large closet to store your belongings with a safe. Likewise, a spacious bathroom equipped with towels, soap, hair dryer, shampoo, etc.
The rooms have an electronic lock which makes them comfortable for entry and exit.
In general, I think it is an excellent hotel option to stay in this area, the price/quality variable is perfect, in addition to being a safe area, it is south of Boca Raton and north of Pompano beach. You are 50 min / 1 hour by car from South Beach in Miami and 20 minutes from FLL airport (car).
It is important to consider that the hotel has exclusive parking for guests, free, spacious and comfortable.
I would recommend this hotel, communication with the host was easy and fast through the Booking app, I made Check in and Check Out contactless, simple, easy and fast.
Rooms: Comfortable, spacious with amenities such as kitchen (equipped), bathroom, closet, basic 2-seater bed. Comfortable, to be without problem.
Nearby activities: Restaurants, beach, coastal path, pier, bars.
Safety: Safe hotel in a quiet, residential area without so many foreign tourists, in general a vacation area for Americans from other states.
Walkability: You can walk a lot nearby, run, exercise, go to the beach, eat or walk without problem or risk.
