370 SE 20th Ave, Deerfield Beach“First off, wow!
I am a solo female traveller. Tropic Isle Beach Resort is hands down in the top 3 places I have stayed at. I had a 10 day stay. This beautiful boutique stay is just a 2 minute walk from the beach, and on the quiet end of Deerfield beach at that.
Check in and check out was seamless and hassle free. Couldn't ask for a better experience with the hands-off approach, but I was able to contact the manager at any time.
They provide beach towels and chairs for guest convenience, which is so helpful - you don't realize how nice a beach chair is to have on the beach until you try it!
I felt very safe at the property. I never felt "exposed" to the street. The property is gated and surrounded with hedges for privacy with cameras for safety. It feels so secluded and private. The staff are standout. They are accommodating and helpful. The housekeeping staff in particular are fantastic. The daily linen service is a plus, and its only when you need to use them.
The pool is clean and is well maintained. Dishes and other appliances are also well maintained.
I usually stay at hotels when I travel to south FL for safety, but I am so happy to have made the jump to try a more intimate and smaller property. I will definitely be staying Tropic Isle next time I am in Florida.”

660 W Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach“This is the only hotel I book when I visit Pompano Beach. The management at this location is always so hospitable and has great rates for families of children at Broward Children Center which I wholeheartedly appreciate. I will be renting a room there again, this month....and finally decided to leave a review because I just adore this hotel.Rooms: The rooms are updated with modern fixtures and utilities. Very nice quality and nicely decorated always, and the rooms are always clean.Safety: The neighborhood is busy, but more upscale..didn't see too much loitering or weird activity, it was safe for me because I always take safety precautions when traveling.Walkability: It's restaurants within walking distance, as well as convince stores. I caught Uber everywhere, but could definitely have walked to most locationsFood & drinks: They have soda machines and snacks for purchase in hotel lobby, a hot bar/breakfast in the mornings which is a nice amenities, but you have Popeyes close by, Hooks Fish and Chicken and again, convenience stores.”
“TLDR: A good, newly renovated Marriott option in a prime location only hurt by the old (and loud) air conditioners and thinner walls.Service: Great check-in and kind service. Literally no complaints as a Marriott Titanium.Location: Centrally located and easy access from the road while being far enough away to not hear crazy road noises. Nothing special, though. You aren't getting a mind-blowing view here.Rooms: Generally good, but Marriott really needs to figure out how to standardize their modernity. Renovating? Good! Now, use vinyl planks and stop using horrific carpet. Sure, it smells fine now, but in a couple of years, it will be smelly and run down. Also, the air-conditioning is still that old school style that is loud and kicks hard on and hard off. Lastly, start putting sound foam in the hallways. Nothing worse than hearing the drunkards yelling at 2:30 AM.”
“What an amazing hotel! The staff is OUTSTANDING, Erica was so nice. I was a little skeptical at first with the mixed reviews but the hotel was cleaning & the beds were actually pretty comfortable. I loved that it is located walking distance from the beach & restaurants.Nearby activities: Walking distanceSafety: Walked every night with no worriesWalkability: Location is great”

1050 E Newport Center Dr, Deerfield Beach“Area was off the road and there was another hotel right next to us sharing the parking lot. We were on the top floor in a suite and the view was beautiful.
We had a pull out couch that had a sliding door separating the bedroom from the couch room.
There was a fridge with a small compartment for the freezer and a microwave. The small TV didn't connect to any channels.
We had a safe in the closet but no way to lock it...unless the key was missing.
Restroom was the most high tech I had ever seen. No curtain to keep the water in so point the top spout away from the opening otherwise you'll get water all over the floor. Heat lamp stays on when you turn on the light. So of your in there to fix your hair, it gets a bit hot. They had a high tech mirror. You are able to defrost it after a shower and it has a light (3 different colors...blue, red, orange) as a dim light. We mainly used this when we were in there as the heat lamp made it really hot.
The sink was really loud when you turn it on but worked well. Plenty of space for us to put all our toothbrushes, soaps, face products and hair brushes.
The beds were very comfortable and the a/c kept it cool throughout the night.
The patio door was very well locked, as in, it took 3 people to figure out how to open...there was a bar holding it shut ?.
The fold out couch was pretty big. Held my 6'2" kid on with just some toes hanging off.
Breakfast was delicious. You get tickets when you check in. There was a yogurt machine, waffles, pastries, breads, juices, coffee, cereal, hot items (sausage, tater tots, French toast sticks, and eggs with veggies) and fruits. Eating area was large enough to accompany about 25 people.
The place had some upkeeping items on the floor (ice machine). Had to go to floor 3 to find one. There are two elevators. One on each side of the hotel.
I really liked the set up of this hotel. When we come back next year, this is somewhere i would book again.”
