This would have definitely been a one star had it not been for Marissa. I went to get my prescriptions at 6. I was told the store is closed and they weren't reopening due to power issues. Driving home later I saw that the store reopened. So I went in. I literally ran inside to get my prescription it was 8:02 I got to the counter. The one employee says sorry. We're done for the night. I asked her. But can you help me. I was here earlier. I'm two days without my meds. I said it's only 8:02. her reply ? It's 8:03 we're done for the night. It's all shut down can't help you . .....with an attitude mind you. I politely looked at another employee and asked. Can you help me please. I explained how I was there earlier, but the store was closed because of lost power . She asked for my info. It took less than 1 min... if it was a minute to get my meds and pay. If they lose the one employee who turned her back on me with the attitude . They're not losing anything at all. But if they lose Marissa. They will be losing a lot. This young lady went beyond taking care of the customer.Marissa was very polite and professional. When I thanked Marissa and walked away. I heard the one employee with the attitude , make a smart remark. I stopped and looked over just to see if Marissa would respond to the remark. . Marissa did not. She continued to do her work and didn't even acknowledge her co worker I was done with cvs tonight. Marissa's customer care is the only reason why I'm staying .... For now. If this particular employee has an attitude towards me and disrespects me next time. I will definitely be contacting corporate. And it won't be pleasant for the employee.

Went to fill a non insured prescription and it was $100 more ( $30 vs $130) than in my grocery store pharmacy. How exactly do they get away with this?

This is a general review for this store's pharmacy and every other single CVS pharmacy I had the displeasure of going to in the last 10 years! Pharmacy staff is generally flat out RUDE. Period! Whatever happened to Service Excellence in America?! Or, at least, CVS, invest a little bit on training. Or, yet, be more strict at recruiting! Hire people that enjoy working with the public, or, at least, that have the minimum concept of good manners! Taking my business elsewhere!

Every time I come here to pick up meds, after their automated system calling me 3 times a day for an entire week, they never have my prescription ready. Either it's not filled or they don't read it correctly and try to tell me the doctor didn't call it in, which every time I call their office while holding up the line at CVS they inform me they did in fact call it in, and magically just like that my script appears in the CVS system. Not sure if it's a lack of training, lack of effort or if there is something nefarious going on. Make sure you check your meds and if your doctor says the script is there, ITS THERE.

Where is drugstore in Deerfield beach Florida is located at 2 S. Federal Highway. They are rude and uninformed. They usually don't even carry the right prescriptions so that must be a failing store if they can't afford to keep stock.

Often rude service at this pharmacy - frequently do not carry the prescriptions needed (fine) but one of the more senior Pharmacists feels a need to give her special brand of unhelpful attitude.

This is by far the worst CVS for Covid testing. I did the PCR Rapid-Result test and I am still waiting on my results from 6/11. They just finally posted my results from 6/3. They are the closest but the other CVS got me my results within 24 hours.

Yesterday at around 12:30 pm a prescription was called in on my behalf by my doctor to CVS, 2 S Federal Highway, Deerfield Beach, FL. I did some errands and then at about 2:30 pm I called to see if the prescription was ready. I did a total of 3 calls and each time I was on hold for 5 minutes; however, no one picked up the phone. I decided to drive to the pharmacy. I was told they had no record in their system of my prescription .. so the clerk checked with a pharmacist. He said he was too busy with the COVID vaccine to check on prescriptions both electronically made and/or voice mails. I then asked the clerk what I should do about having my prescription filled as it was a much needed prescription. (not a refill one either where I might have a two day supply left) I was advised by the clerk, at this Deerfield Beach, FL, location to call the doctor back. I wondered why I had to call the doctor back since not checking voicemails or electronic prescriptions seem to be the issue with this CVS. I called the doctors' office back they were upset and had proof my prescription was "called in" to that pharmacy at around 12:30 pm. I then requested for it to be called into a different CVS. The CVS is located at 3580 N Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, FL. 5 stars to them because they check both doctor calls and/or customer calls. They started to prepare it right away. Thank you to CVS at 3580 N Federal Highway, LIGHTHOUSE POINT, FL for treating prescriptions and/or vaccines of equal importance. How can the pharmacist at 2 S Federal Highway, Deerfield Beach, FL make the determination that my medication is less important than preparing vaccines. Again I waited 2 hours before requiring about the status. I was at this store for maybe 20 minutes and during that time no one was waiting in their designated vaccine area for a vaccine. This pharmacist also did not leave his chair to at least check to see if my prescription had been "called in" or at least acknowledge me and say give me a few minutes to check.

Dropped in to get a few things and while there need to use the restroom. The clerk there told me all the restrooms were out of order. I have a hard time believing that. We put down our items and went to Walgreens across the street.
