I just wanted to hop on here and write a very good review since when I first got into this location I was scared because of some less than good reviews. We called Animal Cancer Care and were able to get into this Deerfield beach location on a cancellation. Scared and saddened, the staff made us feel so much better. They run the clinic on time which is a huge help and with compassion. Dr. Fernandez is nothing short of an outstanding person with just the right demeanor and bedside manner to help. Patiently always answers all our questions and we never feel rushed. Our dog Roxy is now in remission and we feel good about the care she is getting. If you are in the unfortunate situation of having a dog diagnosed with cancer, this is a place with heart and knowledge to help.

My precious 9 year old kitty, who had been treated for fibrosarcoma last year at ACCC in FTL, is now losing her battle with cancer after her tumors have since returned and are inoperable. I’ve been watching her show me she’s not well in her eyes and the sadness I see on her face. But I haven’t been able to bring myself to make the ultimate decision just yet. I needed an oncologist’s opinion. I saw Dr. Fernandez today at the Deerfield location and he couldn’t have been kinder or more patient in helping me figure out how to navigate her last days to weeks with me. I can’t begin to thank him enough for how sensitive and thoughtful he was towards me and my Minnie “Mouse.” He came up with one more last ditch effort to make her more comfortable, so we’ll see if it helps at all. Either way, I’m grateful for his approach and appreciation for my breaking heart. Danielle was amazing. Carried my baby out to my car for me and just talked with me. She was so kind and supportive and offered to help me any way she could during this difficult time. I knew, going in, this wasn’t a visit to save her, but to help give me confidence about what exactly she’s dealing with internally and what, realistic, time she has left. I really needed her checked by a professional and solid advice based on that assessment. I got all of that and more. Thank you both for being the caring, compassionate human beings us pet parents deserve. This is a great little team and I will always be grateful to them.

It's a business and they push tests. Our oncologist Dr. Williams was cold and and kept talking over me. Terrible bedside manner....

I made a switch from Coral Springs Animal Hospital to the animal Cancer Care Clinic! I am so satisfied at least currently! Today was our first visit, nothing but pleasant sass! They show a sense of urgency and they care! They treated my pet like family! That is all we ask for! Not just to be another number!

I really like the staff in this clinic. They’re so understanding, accommodating and sympathetic with the stressful situation their patient owners are going through. The doctors and techs are so professional and they take amazing care of my dog. The Fort Lauderdale office is really nice and comfortable, gives you a sense or peace. The parking lot is a little small and tight but still good for the area. Services are a little pricey but I think that’s the case with most oncology centers. Highly recommended.

Years ago, the Animal Cancer Care Clinic helped me a great deal with my dog Madison. Their level of care and attention, and that of their support staff, was remarkable. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the clinic was the exact opposite. The level of care given to my dog, Winnie, by Dr. Williams failed in every way imaginable - a failure that reeks of carelessness at best. Not only was Winnie not examined properly, she was also misdiagnosed. When I emailed the office abo

I am giving them such a bad score, not because they are inexperienced but because of the general experience. Henry passed away yesterdayHe was diagnosed with lymphoma but the cause of death was a blood clot in the lungs This is a possible side effect of chemo I was not told about- At last visit he was emaciated but they did not back off on treatment. The information and tic =was poor. Maybe cause of Covid but with this serious situation I believe we should have had a consult or at least a phone call from the doctor. I was never told the size of the cancer which was told to me by the er clinic. where he died from spitting up blood. I called to cancel and tell them he was gone and no call to find out the details which should have been of interest in understanding future treatments. I would avoid chemo on pets unless you really research it and get all the details. Cancer can kill but, so can chemo--It can be very nasty on a pet. Make your choices carefully and get a second opinion

I don’t write reviews for things, ever. But I am very thankful for the honesty and information provided to me by the doctor and nurses today at animal cancer clinic. My dog has been so sick and his cancer has progressed incredibly fast, and it has been a horrible time for my husband and I trying to understand his pain and his condition. The doctor was informative, helpful, and most importantly honest, and that is what I needed in a horrible horrible time. Thank you so much.

I can’t say enough about these wonderful caregivers. From the first time we took Willow in and I spoke with Dr. Dominguez, and each time there after, I knew we were in the right place. The final cure was surgery, which required removal of three teeth and some bone, on May 2nd, two days before my girl’s 1st Birthday. My now 1 year old and beautiful Willow Mae is cancer free and a very happy pup! What a fine job Dr. Dominguez did with her surgery! I’m so grateful you can’t even

Maybe if you don't see the utterly heartless and useless "DR" Gustafson and they actually prove your dog has cancer before operating you might have a better experience than me. Fortunately Dr Ruddle kept my dog alive. Come to find out my dog actually has a heart condition and the Animal Cancer Care Clinic only cares about numbers. Interestingly enough they refunded me for the oncology appointment that LEAD to an UNNECESSARY surgery and somehow the surgery costs were justified by the center and care credit. BEWARE!!!
