By far the best insurance agency I have ever worked with. Darlene & Tara have been helping me for years to find the best insurance coverages, and rates for my residence, multiple rentals and other insurance needs. Very patient, and professional; they spend a lot of time explaining and presenting different options, informing of upcoming changes with policies and rates. Whenever I have new insurance needs, I don't look anywhere else.

Tara has been great to deal with for nearly 7 years now. She has written the owner's policies on my four vacation rental condos, and been EXTREMELY helpful, especially when hurricanes came through in 2016 and 2017, with handling our claims. She has also written the coverage on a secondary home we purchased this year and has just written the coverage on our primary home which is in another county where we have had the same agency for the nearly 9 years we have lived in it and have had a different customer service rep every time we turned around.Tara worked hard to find us the best option available in EVERY INSTANCE so will now have ALL of our coverage and I referred the buyers of one of our condos she previously wrote the coverage on (while we owned it) and the buyer is VERY pleased with her service also.Tara's is a smaller office and the customer service is SO much better and more personalized than the "large" agency that had our primary home. The only reason we had not moved it to Tara sooner is because we were hoping to sell it and move to a retirement community but have not yet moved!! These are difficult times to get insurance and Tara VERY QUICKLY had several quotes for me and spent time discussing the options so we could jointly decide the best one to go with.THANKS, TARA, for always being there for us!! I would not recommend doing business with this company. I called to setup HO & Flood Insurances on a new property. The quote looked good. Then when they ran credit, which mine is excellent, the premium went up so I hesitated to commit. They couldn’t give me any reason as to why the price went up. So then I said to Darlene, I’m going to think about it. She then transferred me over to Tara. Tara talks me back into buying the policy, but at the same time says the insurer will send out a 3rd party inspector to the new home within the next month or so to inspect the outside of the house. She says, they just show up and don’t bother to schedule an appointment. That’s unprofessional! I reluctantly said go ahead. Thinking that I would still have time to think about it before I signed the agreement. Payment was supposed to be processed after I signed. I didn’t sign the agreement the next day and told Tara that I changed my mind and didn’t want to move forward. She says, well the payment has already been processed. Very misleading and unprofessional. So now I have to wait for Cabrillo Coastal to process the refund of nearly $1,800 through underwriting which will take a couple of weeks. Also, their going to mail a check when they took the money out of my bank electronically. Not cool. I found this information out from Brenda at Cabrillo Coastal and not Professional Insurance. Darlene at Professional Insurance didn’t respond to my email request and when I called her their was no answer. All I can say is “Buyer Beware!”
