I've been buying my paint from this location since it was called ColorWheel , I drive from ormond beach to get my paint here. When im.aware there is at lease 2 stores closer I could use. I guess I am a creature of habit. I like this location and the service is always good. I prefer to paint my own home . It's all stucco it's real easy . Only 2 high peaks that a ladder is needed. Doing it myself saves me around $3500. I end up buying about 6 gallons. Been painting it now for the 3rd time in 18 years .very good paint. .

Dennis needs to work on his customer service. He wanted the account number used when my paint was purchased. I doubt people purchasing retail items know an account number. Dennis was unwilling to look for me in the system telling me without an account number he’d be unable to help me locate the name/product number of the paint I had purchased. He told me samples were only for comparing colors. When he finally did look me up, he found my name and the color I was looking for. He told me it would be $28 for a quart size. When I asked about the quart size acrylic paints he said, “I guarantee it will peel off if you paint something with this…it’s not what you have on your wall.”I told him that I felt like he was not interested in helping me. He was curt and flippant with me. I finally got what I had come for despite his rude behavior and suggest that he treat all customers as if they are a big sale. I seriously caution him to be more respectful addressing women customers as they may be the boss of an entity that could prove to be lucrative. He didn’t make eye contact, smile, or make an effort to help me before he kept telling me how he “couldn’t “ help me.

Dennis was ABSOLUTELY amazing at helping me create a custom color for a project with a very picky client and he was patient and thorough with me to get my perfect color complete. Can’t thank himEnough and the color came out perfect!!

I visited the Sherwin Williams paints store in Port Orange off Reed Canal.I had always had a good experience when purchasing paint and supplies in the past.During my visit on Tuesday April 12, 2022, I arrived to inquire about purchasing paint which was was on sale. During this time I was approached by a customer service representative. I asked about the exterior paint on sale and could I purchase a sample. He informed me they don't do paint samples any longer and the Company is focused on providing paint not samples now.The salesman seemed disinterested. I showed him the color chip I had brought with me for a sample. He advised me to hold the paint chip down on my pool deck I was planning to paint and I didn't really need a sample.He also informed me they had no brochures to give out. I found this quite odd. I thanked him then left the store.This didn't seem right so after thinking a out this situation I decided to return to the store on Thursday two days later.I was greeted by a different salesperson and another lady. I inquired again about paint on sale, samples and brochures. The salesman gave me some prices per gallon on one of the companies top exterior paints. He also advised me they had no brochures at this time to give out. He showed me some colors on a small one page chart on the customer desk. I left with a paint quote, no brochures and a price quote on paint!The salespeople were neither friendly or unfriendly. They did the job the were hired to do. I purchased paint and supplies from this same store in the past. Today I realized we have been through a pandemic for two years. If one expects to receive the same customer service, paint brochures and paint samples for purchase! Forget it! It doesn't exist here! The customer is in for a surprise at Sherwin Williams paints!...........Update regarding Sherwin Williams paints. ?I received a reply from the owner and was asked to contact him.I decided I didn't want to do business with Sherwin-Williams due to the poor customer service I received from different staff on two separate occasions while attempting to purchase supplies for a swimming pool and home painting project.It seemed obvious this store seemingly relies on contractor purchases for the majority of their business. As evidenced by the store being out of brochures and deciding not to provide the purchasing of paint samples. I also found it odd a paint store employee would say " you don't need a paint sample, just hold the paint color chip to the deck of your pool" With comments like this from employees standing around. Helps me understand why the store was visibly empty of customers on both occasions. It was difficult for me to write this review. I have always patronized this store for many years. I have always given positive feedback to store employees and management in the past.I'm sure management has this on record. This is not personal. It's just not a place I want to patronize due to employees being uninterested in providing customers the service they deserve. I wish Sherwin-Williams well and hope they improve their customer service.As for me I have completed my projects with supplies I purchased from a store where the employees were helpful, very busy, friendly and treated me as a valued customer! Not a store where a employee answers a buzzer which goes off when a customer walks inside the store.

I was in need of stain to touch up an old oak desk. I brought one of the desk drawers to the Sherwin Williams store on Reed Canal Road in South Daytona. The staff was very helpful..I was asked to leave the drawer so a custom stain could be blended. I picked it up, along with other supplies needed to complete the job later the same day. Courteous, knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend the store.

My 1st visit to this store and the customer service was excellent. Christin helped me narrow down my color to 2 after explaining what I was looking to do which made it so much easier. I am so appreciative for her patience. She is a true asset to the business.

Great store experience this visit. Even though the paint finish I wanted was not available, Christin''s excellent customer service was a great exchange for having to chose the slightly higher product. Thank you for helping me in a professional manner.
