If you want to be followed around like your stealing then this is the store for you. We walked in and one of the employees followed me around the entire time I was in the store and never once asked if I needed help.

When I was in late elementary and middle school years, my mom and I would come to Daytona with the guy she was dating at the time and his family. I remember my mom getting and wearing Salty Dog shirts and me begging to wear them to school. It was such a very rare occasion if I even got that chance to wear one. I thought they were so cool.Now I have my very own Salty Dog shirt that happens to commemorate Jeep Week which happens to be going on the same time that I was there ?

Top notch. Went in with my son today and got hooked up with everything we needed to hit the surf. The guy that helped us was super cool and friendly. Glad this is where we decided to stop.

I can’t say enough about the customer service from Max at Salty Dog. Max is the owner and he was so kind to us when we stopped in. Max went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. He let our baby play with his dog, Salty. If you like affordable, stylish clothes and great customer service, Salty Dog is the place to go. I’ve been going here for years and I’ll continue to recommend Salty Dog to other people.

Bought a board online. The staff member had no idea this was even an option and acted like I was nuts when I told him I was there to pick up my board. Called someone who told him, yes this indeed is possible after 10 minutes on the phone. Never acknowledged his mistake. Not a great experience with the shop.

Love this place. Everyone's always so nice, have really nice stuff from clothes to surf gear. Good location in the heart of Daytona. my go to surf shop for sure.

Super disappointed, last night of our vacation we planned on stopping to grab clothing and souvenirs. We saw good reviews and cool photos. We arrived close to closing time, not planning to spend much time as it was getting late, but the two girls working came out and closed up as soon as we got there, 15 minutes before the posted closing time. It was a real bummer.

We stopped here on our trip to Daytona, awesome store! We got shirts and Hoodies for our family and some stuff for our dog. Loved our visit with Salty too!! Great store to visit.

I’ve loved Salty Dog since I was a kid. Made a special point just to stop here on this trip. Upon arrival, we were greeted immediately, they seemed nice. But had I known the 3 young staff (2 girls, one guy) behind the counter were staring, and laughing at my cousin’s appearance, I never would have completed my purchase. Very disappointed. Straight up RUDE.

Awesome Surf shop! Staff is always cool and knowledgable. Has everything you need (and everything my wife needs). Dont go to the weird giant Mega-shops in Daytona, this one is truly CORE! Great gear and everything you need. #1 surf shop I have seen in Ormond and I have lived here 5 months. Thanks for the free stickers too!!!!
