The owner's name is Mark . I've been doing business for 30 years .he knows what he's doing .instead of giving your money to a big corporation I think we should support local businesses.Is not greedy he handles all his customers the same way very nicely.I think just visit him one time before you go to rooms to Go for Ashley's furniture or Hudson furniture just visit him one time. And don't judge a book by its cover.Not trying to judge anyone but thank you very much

I was referred to Madelyn's through a friend who had been going for years. Mike goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. I told him what I was looking for and he happened to have exactly what I wanted (even better than I hoped for). It was a beautiful platform bed and the price could not be beat. I've been in numerous times since and there is always something that catches my eye and he is always willing to work with you. There was some miscommunication between the delivery guys, and Mike himself made it right. Again amazing owner! Amazing store!

Mike is a great person/owner of Madelyns furniture. He has quality merchandise at a fair price. We have lived in the Port Orange area since 2010 and have repeatedly purchased several rooms of furniture from him. He provides quick and efficient delivery and repairs that are seldom needed. You can't go wrong here.

Just purchased a living room set from Mike. They are the best people to deal with. He was able to match a price for a couch that was more expesive in other stores. They delivered it yesterday and the delivery was smooth on time and no problems. Thank you Mike for being so helpful. We will see you soon for our bedroom set!

We came in looking for a new couch after our house flooded. We found a beautiful new couch for a great price, AND it was delivered to our house and set up within 2 hours! What great service, if we are looking for furniture in the future we will be back!

They listed a dresser for a wonderful price on Facebook marketplace one night, well after their store closed. In the morning I messaged that I wanted to buy it 90 minutes before the store opened. No response. I drove to the store and was there before they unlocked the door. I was the first customer to enter. There was a sold sign on the dresser. The salesman told me they sold it 30 minutes ago. ????? I am not accusing them of bait and switch, but I'll never waste my time going back.

Well, I was told that Madelyn’s Home Furnishings Store cannot be reviewed. I was told that in a warning by Google. Very strange. Anyway, about 4 years ago, I needed a floor lamp and this place is very close and so, I was driving by and decided to go in. I walked right up to this “old” lamp. I liked it’s look, gave them $25 and spent the past 4 years with it in my bedroom. Then, all of the sudden, it was dead. So, I called their store after trying to replace the socket. No good. They said to bring it in. The next day, I did. They were very nice and helpful. Michael, the owner, told me to just leave it and come back the next day after 3PM. OK. Well, I bought a beautiful “sand dollar” lamp while I was there. In the meantime, Michael decided to work on my antique lamp! That made me very happy. He got the socket secured and turned it on and it almost blew out all of his electricity in the shop. He told me that the entire lamp needed to be re-wired. I asked him if he wanted it, that I had no interest in lugging it around town trying to find a repair shop. He took it and in exchange, “gave” me a new floor lamp that I had been admiring. It was loose “acting” in the store and I was really questioning it as his saleswoman helped me get it in my Jeep. I got it home. I set it up in my bedroom where the antique lamp was. He had an “oven or refrigerator” light bulb in it. The plastic ring that secures the “artificial” alabaster glass lampshade, was cracked and barely holding such a heavy shade. It was risky. The socket is made out of aluminum. I was able to put a much nicer light bulb in to the socket securely. I removed the brown, securing ring, as it was no longer trusted by me to hold the glass shade. I had a nice, short lamp sitting on my desk that needed a pretty “pretend” alabaster lamp shade. It fit PERFECTLY!! I put in a prettier bulb and it made me very happy. Now, back to the new lamp. So, I have a new lamp with a pretty light bulb hanging out of it. There is no shade. That is fine. Thanks to Michael being a very kind soul to me? I now have a free, functioning floor lamp and a much prettier, and better functioning desk lamp!! But, I do miss my very pretty antique lamp! It was super heavy.BTW? Madelyn’s Home Furnishings Store at 4090 S. Ridgewood Avenue, has some really beautiful pieces and stunning accessories and art work for your walls! The staff is very nice and accommodating. Michael was also. I plan on returning to see more of their inventory. It is worth the visit. Enjoy!
